This is worth a visit, only takes a couple of hours but has loads of different species of fish and is well looked after. We used our iventure card as the cards the aquarium offered didn't include any cruises, tours, museums or the big zoo. The iventure card saved us loads of money. We got in quickly and easily with... With the aquarium being in sydney i expected to be blown away by huge fish and even huger sharks. While there are sharks in the walkthrough its certainly less than i was hoping for. I had purchased an adventure card in advance expecting some kind of smaller Q or non at all but upon arrival i was greeted by an... More

It's one of the main attractions in Sydney close to Darling Harbour bridge. It's bit expensive but it will be worth if we booked in a package which includes other attractions like Manly Wharf, Madame Tussauds, Tower Eye Sydney & Wild Life (native Australian animals) . You can choose either 3 or 4 attractions in a package. The package ticket... More

On the web site they advertise an adult ticket for $26. When I selected date and time it turned out to be $68.40 for 2 adults. Overall it's not bad but definitely nothing exciting. The one I visited once in Quingtao was bigger cheaper and just better. Worth visiting with little kids if there is nothing else to do in... More

The aquarium appears to focus on Australian fauna, instead of trying to be all things to everyone, and given the country's incredible diversity of animal life it's not a bad idea. Nevertheless, there were a good many tanks of unmemorable native fish, rather than the showstoppers you might expect. I'd suggest that the two main tanks with Perspex tunnels beneath... More

We had a few wet days in Sydney and decided to head to the aquarium to fill in some time. The worst part was all the screaming kids that echoed down the enclosed tunnels..... but the Dugongs were interesting and reasonable length tunnels to get some good viewing opportunities.

I visited on a rainy November day and so did many others making for a 45 minute line-up to get in. This was my only real beef with the facility. The exhibits ranged from pretty good to outstanding and the opportunity to see a wide variety of sea creatures up close is well worth the price of admission. Be sensible... More

This Aquarium has an awesome collection of sea animals and fishes but it is very less interactive. There is hardly any information about the fishes, all they have is a touch screen installed at every display which would tell the name of the fish and the coastal areas where it is found. No information about the general nature of the... More

I've been to the aquarium numerous times and am very impressed with it. I went recently at 10.15am and there were a number of school excursions there. I think it is wonderful for the children to be exposed to the animals but if you are a full-paying guest it is very noisy and often difficult to see the exhibits. I... More

The aquarium was expensive and not worth the time to go through it. Although the walking under the tanks was interesting, it was not worth the time nor expense.
