loved the levels you can walk down - such a variety of large fish and sharks. the touch pool was very cool. Is amazing how you walk thru tunnels and the sharks swim over you Really great ! more

Attended the Acquarium with my daughter, then with extended family who were visiting from overseas. The Dunongs (www.sydneyaquarium.com.au/dugong/) were the best! more

First stop, Sydney Aquarium, which in all honesty would not be on the top of my “must see” list on a usual holiday, turned out to be much fun and impressive. Amanda the Aquarist, kindly informed us of the living and eating habits of the infamous Dugongs (or Dudongs/Wallagongs as Cuzzy would call them)! We also got up close and... more

This Aquarium is fine for Families but for me was very boring. At the underwater observatory witht the Dugong and Sharks was quite unsettling for me. When I looked up I felt like I was floating and felt very trippy and felt like at any moment I would faint! Wouldn't go there again, but like I said, great for young... more

There were some really interesting animals/mammals to see....they had a neat temporary spongebob display there for the school holidays....the only dissapointment was paying $50.00 for the feeding the sharks tour....to get pulled along the top of the aquarium in a little pontoon and chuck dead fish over the side....not great value for money there. more

Just less than an hour ago I was at the aquarium and had the chance to see the exhibit and was VERY disappointed. It was rated the best in town and it was dirty, kids were running around, and the shark section was closed. I talked to Kobie the manager on duty and explained I was there around 15 minutes... more

Just got back from my trip to Sydney. Having read a lot of reviews of the Sydney Aquarium, I made sure to visit it during my trip. I thought it was an okay place, but it didn't quite live up to my expectations. I thought that the place was a little small. The main attraction was the two dugongs. I... more

The Sydney Aquarium is an absolute must see when you visit Australia. The layout is like a total underwater experience. Our gandaughter visited Australia with us from South Africa and instead of spending a few hours at the aquarium it became a day visit. She was in awe. The most wonderful experience. more

This was the clearest view of a duck-billed platypus that I have had and I spent a long time watching his antics. I thought the dugongs were amazing and took some really good close-up pictures of them, from the tunnel and above. I was also impressed with the size of the rays and the turtles and being so close to... more

The aquarium is something thats only worth going once because the second time you go, it never changes. The prices i think are ridiculous, $32 for an adult! If you walk to quickly around the displays your out of there in 20-30mins flat. The end of the trip ends up in the shop which obviously they want more money from... more
