Located in the corner of the harbor, the aquarium offered us a neat attraction following lunch on a sunlit breezy afternoon. We thought the displays that they had were attractive even if there was not enough to keep us there longer. Traffic was relatively light, so lines were never an issue. Mostly visitors from out of town as far as... More

I have been to many aquariums around the world and I must say I had high expectations for the Sydney Zoo. Pretty disappointing to find that the shark exhibit was closed the day we attended however no discount offered on the ticket. To be frank this attraction needs a lot of work and it was just kind of boring and... More

Sea Life Sydney Aquarium offers a lot Australian sea life but the aquariums themselves are quite uncharitable. they should get some inspiration from Ripley´s Aquarium in Toronto

Hello Andy, Thank you for taking the time to review our attraction. I am pleased to hear that you mentioned our extensive variety of Australian species however I am disappointed to hear that you were not as impressed with the displays themselves. I will be looking into Toronto’s Aquarium to see what it is you think we are missing. If... More

The most interesting animals ( platypus and big sharks ) where nowhere to be found. Fortunately the dugong saved the day. The rest of the aquarium isn't worth the price. I don't recommend it.

Hello Matt, Thank you for taking the time to post your review on Trip Advisor. It is always a little disappointing to hear that we have not met a guest’s expectations. Currently our Shark Valley display is undergoing some required maintenance and is off limits to our guests; this work will only be taking a week or so to complete... More

Took my five year old grand daughter to visit the aquarium and she loved it. She liked pointing out the different types of fish and finding Nemo and Dora in the tanks. She really enjoyed having her photo with the Octonauts and walking underwater seeing the sharks, sting rays and fish swim over and all around us. We enjoyed being... More

We've been here a few times because we purchased an annual pass otherwise not worth going more than one time as I think it's quite expensive. My kids love it, they never get sick of seeing the beautiful sea creatures. I like the way it's set out and it's a good experience. Great for children and the best out of... More

I loved visiting aquariums but this was very disappointing especially given how very expensive it was. My elder child is 1.4m tall but even he couldn't see into quite a few of the tanks as they were too high. There are interactive screens by some of the tanks but they cover the whole room so you have no idea if... More

Hello seagirl201525, I am very saddened and disappointed to read of your visiting experience this April. Your visit during the peak of the NSW School holidays would have been quite busy and I can understand your frustrations with the crowds, waiting times and holiday care groups taking time-out for their packed lunches. We do have a handful of larger areas... More

Very disapointing for a place such as Sydney. Not a place for you if you have visited other aquariums anywhere else in the world. Very children focused, most likelly entertaining if you are interested in your kids having a good time or if you have never been in an aquarium before and have nothing better to do. Displays come with... More

We visited The Aquarium on the Saturday in the middle of the school holidays. We expected it to be busy and it was but not unpleasantly so .There is quite a bit to see here. We really enjoyed it .
