The aquarium is a really nice place to visit. Although I'm not the biggest fan of captivity this is a spacious area that takes good care of them and through tickets they can afford a very good care. For tourists, Sydney offers an attraction pass, if you are interested to visit a few other landmarks (madame tussaud, zoo, ferry) It... More

It was our last day in Sydney and we decided to visit Sealife in the morning, then do some shopping after to fill in time before our flights home. Totally mesmerised by the inhabitants, 4 hours later we realised we'd have to rush through the last part of the aquarium or we would miss our flights! It is really the... More

Visited the Sydney Sea life aquarium which is great for the kids . A great option on a wet day to keep the kids entertained, No queues and no issues with crowds and pram accessible with plenty of ramps throughout the aquarium. Many attractions to entertain the kids for at least 2 to 3 hours. The food is limited and... More

We chose to visit the Aquarium to fill in time before dining at Darling Harbour - so as it was nearer the end of the day, there were no queues, and no issues with crowds. The only issue was the one we created by going only an hour or so before closing - not enough time. But still worth the... More

Hello Julie, Yes you must come a little earlier next time! We advise that it takes approximately an hour and a half to wander and see all of the displays without being rushed. There are many talks and feeds that happen throughout the day that you also might find interesting. Over time we have had some keen beans that have... More

I stopped in to visit the aquarium during my visit to Sydney. I wasn't really expecting much but it exceeded my expectations. The highlight was the dugongs. I had never heard of them before and enjoyed learning about them. The shark area was also great. There were wonderful viewing areas. Very enjoyable and informative. Recommended.

I took about an hour and a half to go through all the exhibits. It was a little crowded when I went (at about 3pm) so if you can go at quieter times it might be easier. It's clearly set out and accessible with no huge amounts of stairs though there are a lot of ramps down to the lower... More

Hello Laura! Thank you for taking the time to post your thoroughly informative review. The inside tip for a quieter visit is to drop in during the later afternoon from about 5pm onwards. Most people are not aware that we are actually open until 6pm as a last entry and a total closure at 7pm. For a mid-week visit at... More

Initially put off by the entrance fee, we definitely saw its value by the time we were halfway through. The exhibits are well designed with great viewing for all ages, our 3 year old was able to see most without needing to be lifted up. The Octonauts kids area was a nice feature to distract from the boredom that might... More

Much was said and recommended that the Aquarium is a must visit place. But I still prefer Singapore's SEA Aquarium at Resort World. However, in Sydney we get to see Platypus, Dugongs.

Hello 2015ECL05, Thank you for providing us with your feedback. The S.E.A Aquarium in Singapore is quite grand and being only 3 years old has quite modern displays. I am pleased to see that you mentioned some of our star attractions, the Platypus and Dugongs. Our resident Dugongs, Pig and Wuru, are two of only five Dugongs in Aquariums around... More

Decided to have a look at the Aquarium whilst staying at Darling Harbour as we hadn't been for years. Had prepaid vouchers so the cost was affordable and we went when it wasn't busy BUT we waited in a queue for 20 mins to get in. There were two cashiers open but they took forever to process people's ticket requests.... More

Hello Christine, I am sorry to hear that you were displeased with the customer service on the morning of your visit. There are a number of events that may slow the prepaid line down including tour bookings, errors or issues and processing Vouchers that have come through a third party also takes a little longer then processing bookings through our...
