Spend your time right at the beginning where the Platypus tank is, as that is the highlight. When we visited there were three very active Platypus moving in the tank and it was fascinating to watch their movements. The Dugongs were not on exhibit and that was disappointing. The walk through (under) aquariums are nice. The information on sharks and... More

Ok, I'm a sucker when it comes to zoos and aquaria. This one is one of my favorites of those I've been to around the world. Why? Well, the displays are wonderful. Many aquaria want to have large animals, but they need large tanks. This aquarium does a great job at helping the visitor experience those animals up close by... More

We went there on a Friday on school holidays (which was our own fault) and it was very crowded. So I would definitely recommend not to go there during school holidays/ at the weekends... It isn't as big, and the aquariums/different fishtanks not as beautiful as expected... Rooms are very dim and thus the atmosphere wasn't that nice... In my... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our Attraction, all feedback is welcome and used by SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium, so we appreciate the time our guests spend writing their posts. You have mentioned the price which leads me to believe that you paid our $40 price at admissions which, as the full rate, is the highest ticket price... More

I visited the Sydney Aquarium many years ago when my children were small and loved every minute of it. I revisited today and found a gaudy shallow experience. The displays seemed disorganised and there was little information about what you were looking at. The animals described on the touch screens were not necessarily evident in the displays that were nearby.... More

Hello Jenny, Thank you so much for taking the time to review our facility. We were quite disappointed to hear that not only did you find SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium a shadow of its previous self but also that you will not be returning. It is especially distressing to hear that you feel we are less appealing since we have... More

You see their marketing everywhere and it must cist them a fortune, which is why the prices are so high probably. Don't buy the combined packages, it makes no sense. The aquarium is OK, only great when you walk under the big one, but it is over hyped for these 5 minutes of greatness. So many things to do in... More

Not bad. Only took about an hour & 1/2 to get around but I suppose it would be ok for families with small children. Melbourne Aquarium is 100 times better.

The place is not cheap but it is worth going. Loved the sharks and the fish swimming around you. We spend almost 2 hours and we could stay longer

We love the place with lots of things in it. We have been there quite a few times already. Still love it. In compare to Melbourne one, they are like 10 times more interesting.

Do not go while school is out! We happened to be in Sydney during Winter Break and decided to go to the Aquarium, what a mistake! Besides screaming kids, being jam packed into a confined area and over all mayhem, the price you pay for admission is double what it should be if you ask me. It's a standard aquarium.... More

Really enjoyed the Aquarium, not to many people in there so was able to move about freely which was nice. Nice attraction if you have a few hours to kill in the city.
