The new David Williamson production of Cruise Control is excellent. A terrific cast all acted beautifully. Wickedly funny, having been on a Cruise Ship recently, very true to life. The audience thoroughly enjoyed this performance.

We love coming here to see shows- heaps of quality stuff. We've seen three now, and will continue to come back for more. I wish there was a higher quality restaurant attached- it seems like the buffet you'd see in a tired old place, and the concessions could be a bit more festive. Still, the quality of the shows is... We are long time subscribers to the Ensemble - I can recall Hayes Gordon on stage. What a great presence he had and what a commanding voice. After seeing him in "Fiddler" I saw the movie starring Topol and immediately could not help but regard Hayes as by far the greater performer. He may be long gone but you know... More

We have subsribed to the theatre for many years now and have thoroughly enjoyed every play we have seen. It is always amazing to walk into the tiny theatre and see what marvellous things have been done to the space! The acting, costuming and overall direction of the plays is always excellent. Highly recommended.

The Play The Glass Menagerie was very well acted but I couldn't hear much of the dialogue. The Actors should project their voices more. I was looking forward to seeing this Tennesse Williams and for much of the 2 Acts I was trying to lipread. When the actors were turned away from me I lost all of the dialogue.

Small theatre-in-the-round in a converted boatshed, with a bar that sits out over the harbour, and excellent programs. We have been season subscribers in the past and dropped out this year because parking is a bit hard, and public transport isn't an option. The restaurant downstairs is a bit ordinary for the prices: the yacht club next door is more... More

I subscribe to this theatre and have done so for years so feel I can speak with some authority on the standard of its productions. They are excellent. The directors have a real eye for how plays should be directed, all other managers (set, wardrobe, etc) work in harmony, great actors always seem to bring out their best and the... More

Ensemble Theatre always has well known plays with brilliant actors. I just saw Bombshells with the talented Sharon Millerchip. It's a boutique theatre, tucked away not far from the Sydney Harbour Bridge, overlooking a bay with boats moored. it's beautiful sipping wine while looking out on the water, before the performance.

Good quality theatre productions. Great venue, although parking can be troublesome. Up close and personal with the actors and the stage.

The Ensemble now has new seats - comfort much improved. We recently saw Becky Shaw. Excellent play about relationships. Black Humour. Kept our attention over two hours - without clock watching. Superb acting. The Ensemble has some wonderful plays. Well worth a visit.
