Had a great day out on the tall ship James Craig yesterday... The ship is in terrific condition after it's recent refit. I sailed out through the heads of Sydney Harbour for the first time, what a thrill!! :) James Craig is largely staffed by a group of passionate & enthusiastic volunteers (for both maintenance and operations)... What a credit... More

A day on the James Craig is a fascinating way to see Sydney Harbour and experience life on board a working sailing vessel - this was no ordinary Harbour Cruise. There is a huge amount of information about what it was like living and working on a tall ship in the 1800's and the sail can be as interactive as... More

Slow moving, didn't get very far, because not much wind?? It had a nice atmosphere and the finger food wasn't too bad

I was given 2 tickets for a day sailing on the James Craig as a birthday present, so I took hubby along. It took 6 months for me to get around to using it, but it was so worth it. We were all given a rundown of what to do and NOT do and were offered sea sick tablets, which... More

of all the vessels you can go on, on sydney harbour this would have to be the best. True aussie history, a superb tall ship, great staff and food and we went out of the heads and whales came along side the tall ship - a stunning day and a tribute to all the volunteers and years it took to... More

The food is fantastic and was served by friendly staff. Prawns large and succulent. I went with a business group in my last week in Sydney. Great adventure and a lovely way to start 2014. Highly recommend

I know that the decision regarding which cruise to take during the NYE celebrations in Sydney is a tough one. I researched for a little more than a month before my husband and I decided to celebrate NYE last year on the James Craig. To assist future potential customers, I want to share as much about our experience as possible.... More

Took the lunch cruise. Was fun, gives an idea of what it must have been like on the old sailing ships. Made me thankful for modern day conveniences. Sydney harbour is a must and especially from the water!

Loved everything about it - you could either sit back and enjoy or get amongst it and hoist the sails. They served morning a tea and provided lunch as well, lovely spread.
