Took the lunch cruise. Was fun, gives an idea of what it must have been like on the old sailing ships. Made me thankful for modern day conveniences. Sydney harbour is a must and especially from the water!

Loved everything about it - you could either sit back and enjoy or get amongst it and hoist the sails. They served morning a tea and provided lunch as well, lovely spread.

Wow, what a way to see in 2014! This was our first ever trip to Australia and we spent a lot of time researching where to see in the New Year in Sydney. We were only in Sydney for 4 nights so couldn't afford to waste time all day staking a claim on a free bit of grass space in... More

We reviewed and emailed many different companies and decided on the James Craig, and we were so pleased we did. What a ship, as we got to Pymont and saw the JC docked we knew we had made a good choice. For the reviewer that commented about the drink, if you had done your research properly you wouldn't have had... More

Once we'd made our minds up to be in Sydney for New Years Eve we new that we wanted to do something a bit special & a boat trip in the harbour seemed ideal. We looked at plenty of websites that offered trips but there didn't seem to be many reviews about any of them until we spotted a Tripadvisor... More

I can honestly say there is no better venue to see in the New Year. The Crew including the very knowledgable retired pilot were excellent. Lots of free Beer, wine & soft drinks . We'll impressed

Absolutely incredible. Great staff, great food, lots to drink. Incredible band to dance to. Watching the fireworks to bring in the New Year aboard this historic ship was priceless.

We actually booked the New Years Eve cruise on the James Craig before we booked our flights to Sydney as I was determined to be aboard this magnificent ship in order to have prime position in the Harbour and boy was it worth it ! One of the most incredible evenings we have ever spent. The drink flowed all night,... More

We planned our trip to Australia to be in Sydney for NYE and after much deliberation we chose the James Craig as the place to see in 2014. We embarked at 7pm to be greeted with what turned out to be an endless supply of champagne, wine, beer and canapes. There were 170 people on board including hospitality staff and... More

Boarded vessel and greeted with champagne beer and wine, that's nice but we drink sprits and for $690 each we expected the basic sprits. After settling for mineral water we then looked for a seat which were as rare as hens teeth,so we had to resign ourselves to the fact we would be standing for the 6 hour cruise. As I'm elderly knew...
