It's not only a wine tour, but a wildlife, chocolate, cheese, wine and beer tour! Try some amazing wines at small picturesque boutique wineries, as well as visit a chocolate factory, taste some local cheeses and visit a brewery. Our morning tea with kangaroos, koalas and other native animals is a very special experience too. Private tours are also a specialty for families and/or friends. Join us! Would love to have you along.

We visited two wineries based on the groups wine preferences and they were both brilliant. We also managed to fit in beer, chocolate and cheese tasting as well as a wildlife stop and lunch. Our guide was phenomenal, managing to balance the interests of a group of strangers, keeping it light and fun and never making us feel rushed despite... More

My husband and I wanted to spoil my Mother for her birthday, so we decided on a wine tour of the famous Hunter Valley. After reading all the positive reviews, the obvious choice was to go with the Kangarrific tour. We had a mixed group of couples and friends, including a young family with young children. Sam made sure that... More

I chose this tour as it isn't a typical wine tasting tour. It does include two different (high quality) wine tastings but mixes things up by adding in wildlife, cheese, chocolate, fudge and beer. I enjoy wine but this mix gives you a much more varied and interesting day than just visiting winery after winery. The big advantage of this... More

We had a fantastic day. If you are near Sydney for any reason you need to book this tour with Sam. The day started with petting the sweetest kangas and koalas... They aren't exaggerating they are soooo friendly. Then we went to a delicious chocolate factory and we left with 3 slices of fudge, they were to good just to... More

We were only in Sydney for a few days and everyone we asked said the Hunter was a necessary day trip. We loved our day with Sam. On top of tasting Australian wines we got to enjoy cheese chocolate and beer tastings as well. Lunch provided a number of tasty options (GO FOR THE BURGERS). The wildlife park was also... More

In one day you can discover many things from the traditional Australian products (chocolate, cheese, beer and wine of course) and meet typical Australian animals (you can touch koalas, hold snakes and walk in the middle of kangaroos). 2 wineries are way enough if you want to appreciate the wine. The bus was confortable. Sam was a very friendly and... More

My husband and I were staying in Sydney for a week and wanted to check out the Hunter Valley. It was a great mix of wineries, breweries, cheese shop, wildlife and fun in the Kangarrific van. Sam was a fun and informative guide and he is clearly passionate about the tour.

We had a great time on Sam's tour seeing some great sites and tasting some fantastic wines (especially at Ernest Hill - thanks Neville). Sam's runs a great tour and is a genuinely nice person who knows his stuff. Definitely recommended.

My opinion with these kinds of yours is that it's who your guide is. Sam was funny, informative, could read a crowd! The wineries all knew him, respected him and liked him. It's so much easier to learn when you are having a laugh or two. Thanks for a great tour. The wineries gave great descriptions and tons of tasters.... More

The kangarrific tour incorporates so many different elements it really is a full day of fun. Sam drives and tells interesting facts throughout the day (and a few jokes both good and bad too). The wineries offer you a lot of tastings and go into detail on the elements of each wine. Some great food options for lunch (at your... More
