Try not only some amazing wines at small picturesque boutique wineries, but visit a chocolate factory, taste some local cheeses and visit a brewery. Our morning tea with kangaroos, koalas and other native animals is a very special experience too. Join us! Would love to have you along. « less

Thank you so much Sam for a fantastic tour of the Hunter Valley on 15th August! I'm delighted that I found reviews about Kangarrific on Trip Advisor and that I took advice from other travellers and booked the trip. I was picked up early in the morning with a group of 12 others and off we set towards the Hunter... More

My 5-year-old daughter and I joined the Hunter Valley tour of Kangarrific on 15 August. It was just an amazing experience! Sam Collins, the proprietor cum the guide, brought us to wild life sanctuary, chocolate factory, two wineries for tasting and a beer house during the full day tour. Sam would ask all participants for their wine preference before deciding... More

Hi Jenny, Thanks for your lovely review, it was a real pleasure to have you and Evelyn on last week. I'm sorry you felt the wines weren't to your liking. As you pointed out I do ask everyone about their wine preferences and interests, it's very important for me to know them as I don't have set vineyards I go... More

We had a fantastic day. If you are near Sydney for any reason you need to book this tour with Sam. The day started with petting the sweetest kangas and koalas... They aren't exaggerating they are soooo friendly. Then we went to a delicious chocolate factory and we left with 3 slices of fudge, they were to good just to... More

I was home for a visit with a friend who had not visited Australia before. Sam was a great guide and we got a chance to see our beautiful native animals up close and got to taste great wines at wineries personally selected by Sam after he asked us all what particular wines we enjoyed. It was a great day... More

If every tour operator were like Sam, all would be right with the traveling world. Sam is a delightfully cheeky wine connoisseur who is clearly concerned with ensuring that all of his tour participants get a taste of something that satisfies their interests. My husband is not a wine guy, and he found something he liked enough to buy! Sam... More

Sam, our tour guide, knows Hunter Valley (as well as the people / businesses there) very well! With all his knowledge, he is able to customize the tour based on the requirements - i.e. whether some people on each particular tour have any preference over any kind of wine. And Sam made sure we visit a combination of boutique and... More

We were picked up by Sam and 6 other passengers at 8am. We drove to a wildlife park about an hour away and got a fantastic up close experience with kangaroos, koalas, and a python! Best wildlife experience I had my whole time in Australia. Another hour to Hunter Valley, starting at a chocolate store with a few samples. Sam... More

This is a great tour of the Hunter Valley from Sydney. Pickup is a four spots across the city, leaving about 8:00 AM. First stop an hour later is a small wildlife park where you can pet kangaroos and koalas. That alone was worth the tour price. It would have been nice to see some of the other animals at... More

A bit late writing this review but that's in no way a reflection of the tour. We had a brilliant day out! Met Kangaroos and Koalas, tasted chocolate, cheese, wine and beer... what more could you want?! Well, the answer is Sam! He's a great tour guide. The tour is in small groups, it's personal, it's fun and it's really... More

Booked this tour for my family and I when they came to visit Australia and we loved it! It's a small group and super relaxed, something a bit different from most large scale tours that are commonly offered. It's a great tour for any group of people looking to explore outside of Sydney. What's great about the Hunter valley tour... More
