It's not only a wine tour, but a wildlife, chocolate, cheese, wine and beer tour! Try some amazing wines at small picturesque boutique wineries, as well as visit a chocolate factory, taste some local cheeses and visit a brewery. Our morning tea with kangaroos, koalas and other native animals is a very special experience too. Private tours are also a specialty for families and/or friends. Join us! Would love to have you along.

We were recommended this tour by a friend who lives in Sydney. It was a great way to experience the Hunter Valley for the day from Sydney and is worth the money. The bus is not large so you are a smaller group which was nice especially when tasting the wine as we got to say what kind of wines... More

Great tour - get to go to a great walkabout zoo that lets you get up and close with kangaroos and emu, take pics with koala, taste great choc, wine, cheese and beer. Sam is a great guide with good knowledge of the places that he is not shy to share, and also a fun guy. Minibus is new and... More

Yesterday was my 3rd trip with Sam on the Kangariffic tour. As a local, it is not only a great way to see and experience the Hunter Valley, but is also a fantastic trip to take with visiting family and friends. The group is small and the itinerary is far better than any other tour, visiting not just the fabulous... More

Sam was a fun and entertaining tour guide. The group size was just right--not too large. Especially enjoyed our stop at the Wildlife Walkabout park. We got to pet a koala and meet other wildlife up close. Beautiful scenery the entire way. The wineries were fun and informative. Liked learning about the Hunter and the challenges they face growing grapes... More

This is a must-do for anyone who wants to..well let's just say experience anything Australia. The tour includes quite a lot of things - from meeting kangaroos and koalas to tasting wine and cheese. The wine tasting was quite comprehensive and we enjoyed each bit. Our tour guide, Sam, was funny and seemed to know a lot about hunter valley... More

the day starts you off with the cuddly animals, you can take pictures and pet the koalas and kangaroos (stay away from the face and head, they dont like it), then you'll be off to the cheese, chocolate and wine tour for the rest of the day, if you're a cheese lover, dont give this up, I ended up buying... Sam, the tour guide was incredible. We actually had a date picked out that there wasn't spots available for and Sam sent me an email late the night before saying the spots had become available. It was way past business hours and it was not needed, he is just that kind of guide. The day started out great with an... More

The tour is a daylong adventure! We were picked up around 8am, and our tour comprised 12 passengers with Sam, the owner/tour guide. It's about a 90 minute ride to the Hunter Valley, with a stop at the Walkabout Wildlife Park, for a snack and great photo ops with koalas, kangaroos, wallabys and other animals. We had tastings at a... More

I booked Kangariffic to take two of my English friends up to the Hunter Valley. Sam was excellent, full of energy and very friendly. The stop at the wildlife park was perfect timing and made all the guests feel special, getting to pat a koala which even as an Australian I'd never done before! The selection of different vineyards was... More

I did some research of Hunter Valley wine tours and ended up choosing the Kangariffic tour on the basis of its excellent reviews and the fact that it offered so much more than just wine-tasting. It was a full day, with visits to two wineries, plus visiting a wildlife park, chocolate and fudge tasting, cheese tasting, beer tasting and a... More
