What a great way to experience Sydney Harbour, actually being involved in sailing a 12 metre yacht. Opportunities to work the grinders to raise sails and when tacking, and to actually steer the yacht. An exhilarating experience made all the more enjoyable by the knowledgeable, experienced and friendly welcoming crew. Food not provided but a more than adequate complementary supply of... More

i have some sailing experience and looked forward to this as a high point of my visit to Sydney. While the boat is magnificent and the crew was expert, the boat was so full of people there was no way to enjoy the sail. Bodies filled the boat. People in the way of the crew and of each other. Just... More

My wife has always wanted to watch the start of the race " live" instead of TV coverage- so I was fortunate to secure two tickets for Boxing Day trip. From the greeting at the Cargo Bar wharf and the briefing as we motored to Farm Cove , all the crew were truly professional in how they carried out their... More

We were lucky that the weather was beautiful! Sunny, blue skies and a fair wind. Thus we had an outstanding experience. We only booked one day ahead, but I found everyone at this company helpful and very friendly. Starting with the telephone operator who was patient to answer all my questions. The sail itself was fun and enjoyable and the... More

My wife, daughter and I had a superb afternoon's racing in Sydney harbour (Wednesdays only). Four crew arrived with the yacht and about 25 of us piled aboard and were trained in grinding and running from side to side when tacking, as we motored out to the regatta with superb views in every direction. There must have been 30+ boats... More

I would not recommend booking with Sydney sailing. We are on our honeymoon and booked an America's cup sailing adventure in Sydney Harbor yesterday. We planned our day around it. Yesterday was my wife's birthday and the America's cup sailing was her birthday present. We showed up at the dock and were told that the experience was double booked and... More

I took part in this experience on a Wednesday - which is race day - that means that you aren't just sailing about, you are actually competing against other boats in race that takes in a lot of Sydney Harbour. The professional crew are friendly and competent. They make everyone on the boat feel at home, from novices to people... More

I wanted to spend some time on the harbour and see the sights. My wife wanted to do something out of the ordinary. This was one way to do both. So along with 30 others we went sailing on Sydney Harbour on an America’s Cup boat. It was a lovely Saturday afternoon and it took about 3 hours. The 5... More

I've sailed for 30 years and thought this would be an interesting but ho-hum experience, but my wife wanted to go, so I said sure. Boy, was I ever wrong; this was a GREAT experience and the most fun thing we did in 9 days in Sydney. Great for singles, couples and family, young or old. experienced sailor or landlubber.... More

I traveled to Sydney on business in August for a week. I went on the Americas Cup sailing experience on my "rest afternoon" having arrived in Sydney at 5am after 24 hours on a plane traveling to Sydney from London. This was a perfect way to blow away the cobwebs from the flight and help me stay awake until later... More
