Visited the "The Strand Arcade" off Pitt Street, Sydney. This beautiful mall is often overlooked by tourists, but it certainly worth walking through. Prices in the boutique stores are very expensive - but are nice to look at. There is a cafe in the middle of the mall.

The Strand Arcade, with its boutique shops and cafes & restaurants, is one of Sydney's oldest. Worth a look even if you don't plan on doing any shopping.

To be totally honest, I would more so visit here to stroll through rather than shop as per say as the building is simply a beautiful and visually pleasing arcade. Boutique shopping is of course the attraction however if you have a spare 5 minutes and just passing by, certainly take a wander through here.

This photogenic old arcade runs between George Street and the Pitt Street Mall. There are retailers, small service businesses and eating places on several levels. Good offerings: handbags, accessories, hats, chocolates and coffee.

Worth a quick look. Not as grand as QVB (queen Victoria building) and as many shops or cafés. Still worth a quick look. Nice haigh's chocolate shop.

This old historic building is very reminiscent of the English architecture. I loved everything but the shops can be quite pricey and it's a bonus that Haigh's chocolates are just around the corner.

Smaller than the Queen Victoria building, but still stunning in art glass, ironwork and tiles. Also conveniently located in the central business district. Like the QVB, a must see. Just walk in and get captivated.

The Strand Arcade is in the heart of the CBD and is easily accessible by bus, train and is walking distance from other major sites in Sydney CBD. Located along Pitt Street Mall it is place where you will find many high-end fashion and jewellery stores as well as cafes. It's also a very interesting building itself. Recommended.

Gorgeous, glamours and historical building located right in the heart of the city :) offering some of the finest and the most expensive fashion designers stores :) worth to visit while you're in Sydney :) as to me, I would still preferred QVB over the Strand Arcade simply because QVB is more unique in terms of the building architectural :)

A must-go-place in Sydney. It has very beautiful architecture as well as heaps of shops and cafes within the building. Definitely worth visiting, be it for shopping, dining or mere appreciation of its architecture.
