Staying in Sydney and was stranded on Taronga Island due to a bomb scare in Circular Quays, our boAt couldn't make it to the Island, Manly Ferry guy explained all this to us but when we asked if we could therefore travel with him to anywhere to get off the island he refused as our ticket was with a different... A friend was told to use the fast ferry service and waited to board. Upon trying to board a staff member said to her "can you get out of that?" On being told no (she is a paraplegic), he said he is not having that on board. She left humiliated after having been spoken to very rudely. Ironically her wheelchair... More

The ferries are a great way to get about and Manly being so far, on the fast ferry you are there in no time. Clean, friendly.

It's a ferry. It's fast (20 mins). Goes between Circular Quay and Manly. It has 2 floors - lower indoor deck, upper outdoor deck. All fine and efficient, except for when large crowds wanted to come back to Sydney, we left a little late to accommodate the drunk kids. Other than that - does what you need it to do!

I most often take the Fast Ferry when I'm going to the CBD early evening. Enjoy the quicker trip: not much more expensive counter-peak and can have a beer if you want. Occasionally take with family when running late. Oddly feels less scenic than the classic Manly Ferry

Took the ferry from manly to Darling Harbor. Was a easy way to see the harbor and return to the hotel. Trip took just over an hour with multiple stops.

We had an important family birthday lunch booked for Fort Denison and we were relaying on Manly Fast Ferry to get us there. The 11.20 am ferry out of Manly was 45 minutes late and there was no apology or explanation. Coming back was even worse. We were waiting to go back to Manly at 3.42 pm and the ferry... More

There isn't a better way to see Sydney than coming back on the ferry. It isn't cheap as a commute, but compared to other attractions in sydney it's a bargain. It is a ferry so don't expect luxury. You might as well get off and look at Manly while you are there but don't plan to spend a long time... More

The last time I went on the Manly Fast Ferry, I was only 13 years old. I had such a great time on it and the staff and the fellow passengers were really friendly. It would have been nice though for some staff to show us how to purchase tickets as some of us had no idea if we were... More
