I went on the I'm Free Walking Tour of Sydney upon arrival from the US. This was a great introduction to the city and I highly recommend taking the tour when you first arrive. Although you will be tired from your flight, it will help you get through that first jet lag day and become oriented to the city. We... More

I've done plenty of free walking tours all around the world. The ones offered by I'm Free are right up there with the best. We did both tours. One is for The Rocks area and done at night and the other is a general Sydney tour taking in all the sights. Our guide on both tours was Ross. He was... More

Really enjoyed the walking tour of Sydney. A great, sustainable, way of seeing this beautiful city. A must do! And make sure you tip at least $10 per person, it's well worth it.

There are lots of free walking tours in Europe and this is one modeled on their successful model. found out the tour started 6 years ago, and our guide Josh is a very knowledgeable history literature student. He is quite articulated in his stories during the tour, and did a good pace for our 3hr walk with lots of informative... More

My boyfriend and I went on this tour yesterday morning and were extremely impressed by our tour guide ally, who was both knowledgeable and sociable. This tour hit all the important and tourist areas of Sydney that one would want to see and provided plenty of facts and stories that one would otherwise be unaware of. The tour is about... More

I did this walking tour this morning with Justine as our guide. It was a fantastic tour, informative and engaging, gave some great anecdotes that you wouldn't know from just following a guide book! Would recommend to anyone!

Danika was our guide, which was very fortunate because she is a history major and gave us great explanations about the historical background of the sites she showed us. She always kept things brief and told some interesting and funny stories about the exploration and colonization of the Sydney area. She also gave us great advice about lookout points to... More

This is the best way to experience Sydney. We took part in both tours offered; the day tour from City Hall (10:30 am) and the night tour of The Rocks (6:00 pm). Both guides were very knowledgeable and entertaining; their narrative enhanced our appreciation of the beautiful city.

We opted to go on this tour on our 2nd day in Sydney. What a great overview of central Sydney, and our guide, Justine, was so friendly and enthusiastic with a chocful of information. I suggest doing this tour early on in your trip, as then you will have a better understanding of the city, and will be able to... More

You can't beat "free" but it was also informative and a nice evening walk. Danika was our guide and she provided some fun details about the area. There's a bit of uphill walking, but some stops along the way made it ok, even for me, who can hardly walk anymore. It's great to find places that you may want to... More
