The buffet meal was just pork, beef or chicken, which we saw them cooking in bags on the stove. The meat was bland and the salads had just about run out. I can say the staff were excellent, gave us lots of information on our trip around the harbour. The view for vivid was great. I was a little nervous... More

meal was served as a buffet in the dark, had to walk around to find a seat, there was ropes laying over the walk way the only good thing was the view, I felt I wasted my money

We booked the lunch time cruise & really enjoyed it. The ship is amazing for it's age & the staff have fantastic knowledge about it & all the sights around the Harbour. My husband climbed the mast & he said the views were fantastic so would totally recommend it if you are scared of heights. the lunch was pretty average... More

My wife and I recently did a dinner cruise , it was a great night . The food was excellent a the crew very helpful and as it was during the light festival the views were more spectacular than normal although even without the light show it would still be great. It was a great atmosphere on the boat and... More

Built in Denmark in 1919, this e3 masted wooden shiphas an incredible history - even worked as an ice breaker! Booked the late afternoon trip with open bar sailing from Campbells Cove, left end of the Quay. Nibbles and drinks arrived as we sailed off under the Harbour Bridge heading east past the Opera House. Off to the right was... More

we'd booked an evening cruise to we could take in the Vivid light show from the water. Although registering at the wharf and embarkation was disorganised and left everyone standing around for half an hour wondering what was happening, in the end it didn't matter. The cruise was fantastic, good commentary from our host, a guitarist to provide fire side-style... More

I booked the dinner cruise to see the Vivid lights during the light festival in Sydney. The views were absolutely beautiful however this tour is more about viewing sydney by night than about vivid lights. The boat is a very beautiful old boat. I would recommend the cruise but not the "dinner cruise". The food really needs to be improved.... More

We went on the Soren Larsen so we could feel like we stepped back in time to see see Vivid. The night was quite warm for a winter night and very calm so it made the evening very relaxing and enjoyable. The captain was great and the entertainer Colin was very informative and sung some amazing old sea songs. The... More

I booked this cruise a while back after seeing it on Travelzoo and bought the deal for 4 people. Sadly I booked it on one of the only nights it rained so got a bit wet waiting to set off on the trip which left slightly later than advertised as it seemed to take a while to get the previous... More
