There is a sign that says "Sydney Central Plaza" above the entrance to Myers. However, It is no where near Central train station - so it is a bit of a misnomer. It is nearest to Town Hall Train Station (subway). It is huge, where you can stay underground for hours through the inter-connections & walkways - Westfield Sydney, Queen... More

The Sydney Central Plaza Shopping Centre is a very nice mall in the city center o George Street. Lots of shops, restaurants and cafes. A beautiful building, it is recommended to visit!

We had an enjoyable walk just wandering around the shopping centre and surrounds. There are some wonderful old arcades to wander through not to buy things but to look at the historical arcade structure and flooring. If you want a great selection of cheap but good food then go to the Myers centre food hall which is on the lower... More

Shopping is great in Sydney but navigating around the shops is definately not child and mother friendly, there are no indoor play grounds for children, its difficult to find the lifts and escalators are not pram friendly ie you are not supposed to use them unless they are the more 'modern' flat escalators found at airports. Loved shopping in Sydney. The only down part was walking in the rain from the hotel, but once I made my purchases, was definitley worth the walk.

The Sydney Central Shopping Plaza is just that – a shopping centre. It was big, extensive and very clean, as you would expect from a centre in central Sydney. But that’s it – just a heap of shops. For more character, go shopping in the nearby QVB – a much better and more interesting experience.

I had a spare day for shopping and picked up all the items on my list of must haves!! The city is vibrant, buzzy and the shopping complex was clean and modern.
