My friends and I spent 1.5 hours on the ferries last weekend (June 2013) weather was pretty good for Winter and we spent the whole time on the above open deck. I think it was $29 for 1.5 hours.. Great visiting all the places and sight seeing.... The ferry was comfortable and the skipper etc friendly and checked to see... More

The ferries offer regular services around the harbour area, at a reasonable price - and give outstanding views of this iconic city. Better than a taxi anyday!

There is nothing more Sydney than going to Manly on a stormy day - when the waves are rolling through Sydney Heads. Adds an extra dimension to the Ferry Trip - and the kids will love it. Manly area at the other end is an added bonus.

This review is only for the tickets machine only. We try to buy the tickets, as there was a long queue for the ticketing counter, so we choose to buy from the machine. first, the machine can only purchase 1 ticket per transaction, so when 4 of us travelling and the ferry departing time was just a few mins away,... Enjoyed the calm ride to Manley and the sunset was gorgeous, Very roomy and lots of seating. Good value if you have a Seniors Card as it only costs $2.50 to hop on and off the Ferry, buses and trains all day in Sydney

The first thing we do in Sydney is to buy a 7 day ticket for bus, train and ferries. It´s the best and most affordable way to explore the town in a pleasant way. The ferries are very safe and reliable, excactly keeping the timetable. To go back from Manly to Circular Quai after sunset with the view on the... More

With overseas guests take them on one or more of the ferries, either to Manly or Watsons Bay. Gives them a good look at the Harbour and the sights. Trip to the zoo is also good.

Took the ferry from Manley to Sydney and would recommend it. Not expensive and views of the water, harbor, sailboats etc was terrific. Schedule was flexible with many times to choose from
