You gotta take the ferry from Downtown to the local beaches. Best way to get around! Oh yah, wear sunscreen.

However, if you have a transport pass, the only one that will cover that ferry is the three zone pass. Most tourists won't need a pass that... More

Jump on the Ferries to head to many of the main attractions on and near Sydney Harbour, including Taronga Zoo. Staff are lovely.

Although can be more expensive than a train, the Sydney ferries are a great fun way to go for a cruise to many Sydney tourist attractions.

An absolute must do. We took the ferry to Manly which took about half an hour. The ferries run regularly and are good value for money. Nice and romantic way to get off your feet and see the sights.

What can you say about a ferry service? It gets you from A to B quickly & efficiently - which was just what we wanted. Excellent [this year - but last year when I was in Sydney they were on strike so they cannot have full marks]

Run on schedule. Very cost-effective. Transportation and sight-seeing in one. Free wi-fi on board the ferries.
