My friend and I had a return trip to Parramatta on Rivercat ferry. It was very pleasant to sit and enjoy the sceneries around the Harbour and along Parramatta River. It would have been much nicer, if the windows were clean.

We bought the My Multi3 ticket and we were not let down. Theses ferries run to military precision and are never late. We travelled the whole of the ferry network during the day an in the evening. The customer service was brilliant, along with comfort and some free WIFI

You can go up river or down and to Manly. Sydney ferries are the best way to see the harbour. You can go right up to Parramatta by ferry or out to Watsons bay.

Just take a ferry anywhere - views superb - cheap service and can recommend water taxi - only cost us $30 for three from Darling Harbour to Luna Park and took ten minutes - cheaper than ordinary taxi.

I used the ferry a lot during my stay. That's the wonderful thing about Sydney; where we tend to take a taxis in Melbourne Sydney takes a ferry! Its so easy to just dart across to Manly for lunch or Watson Bay for dinner. It's an easy and inexpensive way to travel, and there's lots of destinations around Sydney that... More

Go for the coffee cruise, early and it won't be too crowded. Lovely atmosphere, great tour guide and nice cake with coffee.

There are 2 ferry routes that are really worthwhile for visitors to Sydney, They are the Manly Ferry and the Watsons Bay Ferry. If you have limited time in Sydney try to make time for both, they reveal much of the beauty of Sydney Harbour.

It's been decades since I lived in Sydney. I never return there without a trip to manly, at least. Even when I go for one day business meetings I always take time to do this trip.

The ferry is about 30 minutes, but you can't beat the views. I would definitely recommend taking the scenic trip and observe unbeatable views of the opera house and sydney bridge while aboard!
