Easy and cheap way to reach different destination

Took the ferries several times, not only a good transportation but also a good way for you to view and tour around the city.

Easily the best mode to travel along the harbour n Manly. Cheap n the most convenient. Darling harbour to Manly is nearly 45 mins ride. Ferries are really comfortable with lot of seating space. U can park ur strikers n cycles also inside. They stick to their timings which is very good. Tip: As a tourist, if you take weekends... More

We had to do a ferry boat while here to complement our experience. It is fast and on schedule. It provides good views of the harbor and drops visitors off at destinations distant from the city. We went to Watson's Bay and did the lighthouse walk. Pretty, but not a must see. Doyle's restaurant is a tourist place with very... More

The iconic Manly ferry is a must for anyone wanting to travel from Manly to the City or vice versa. On our last trip the 5 big P&O liners were anchored in the Harbour and what better way to see them than from the Ferry. The use of Opal Card or day tripper tickets on Sydney transport means that the... More

One of the best and most affordable ways to see beautiful Sydney Harbour and it's surrounding coves and bays. We took a taxi from the city to Manly which cost $65, on the ferry it was $7.60! My last trip was in horrendous weather but kudos to the Captain and crew who explained that we were about to get into... More

Took the evening ferry out to Manly, stunning views on the way out and back, had dinner in Manly, then a tour of three different bars and caught the last ferry back to Sydney at 1am. Fast and efficient service $7.90 return.

Love getting on the ferry to Manly - incredible views and a very relaxing experience. Nothing better than a quick trip to Manly, a walk on the beach, a bit of shopping and, of course, some delicious fish and chips.

I had forgotten just how wonderful it is to travel in Sydney by ferry. It was just amazing as it was a warm, sunny day and 5 cruise liners were in the harbour which made it an extra special journey. There are few harbours in the world where this would be possible - fireworks in the evening made it an... More
