The Ferry system in Sydney is first class. So easy to use and during a long weekend away we mainly used a ferry between circular quay and darling harbour. As we don't live in NSW, we organised an Opal pass on-line had had them posted to us. They were so easy to use, tapping on & off as you got... More

We had Seniors tickets for buses, trains and ferries and just for the fun of it we chose to go on the fery from Circular Quay to Mosman and back. Took some great photos of SHB, Opera House and Luna Park from the ferry and it didn't cost much at all.

We loved taking the many ferries across Sydney Harbour including the ferry to Darling Harbour and Manly. The ferries are well run, afford great views, and are relatively inexpensive. You can use your Opal card to get around (the Opal card can be used on other forms of mass transit as well).

This is a fabulous way to get around Harbour. Also a great trip from Circular Quay to Manly or visa versa.

A trip on a Sydney Ferry is always a highlight of our visits to Sydney. We recently did one ferry trip to Darling Harbour and one to Manly. It is great value for seeing the Harbour and other Sydney bays and inlets. The trip to Darling Harbour took us under the Harbour Bridge to Luna Park and then on to... More

The best mode of commuting in the city! Right from Sydney Opera House. The best part is to travel on a Sunday Funday Pass which entitles all public transport on Sundays for a Family @ $2.5 where you can save a lot. The ferries are quick and well managed.
