I bought this trip as a gift for my grandsons birthday. I seriously cannot recommend it highly enough. $40 pp .. 8.15am on time departure, after a 7.30am SMS confirmation, trip lasted about 3.5 hours. The guide and the skipper knew how to find those beautiful creatures and we were reveling in whale company within a half hour of leaving... More

We had a beautiful morning the weather was gorgeous (only slightly choppy), we found three whales straight up and they seemed to hang around for awhile, I was real impressed with the way the guides just hung back and didn't go after them as many try and do, even though we didn't get many big jumps or backflips it was... Although quite expensive, it was well worth it. We saw heaps of whales and the staff were so friendly and accommodating! The trip went for a while too so that was a bonus!

At $40 per person, I thought this was one of the cheapest whale watching cruises on the east coast. This is my year round price and not a discounted price for a short time. Sydney prices range roughly from $65 to $97 per adult and $40 to $60 per child. Port Macquarie adults around $50 to $75 and Hervey Bay... More

Not sure if it was the time of day that we went but we unfortunatley we didnt get to see any of the whale or dolphine sitings. The boat ride was uneventful and rather cold. Nature doest come when you call, so maybe next time we will have better luck.

Gail I am not sure what day in July last year you came out with us but there was only 1 ( the 11th July) where whales were poor, only seen breeching on the horizon at a great distance and not close enough for a decent viewing. This was an extra afternoon cruise due to holiday demand.Unfortunately weather and sea... More

What a way to spend a Sunday morning!! It took a while to spot our first whale close-up but we were already excited by seeing them in the distance, on the horizon. When we got close to them they began popping up all over the place. A mother and her calf kept appearing throughout the trip. Not sure if it... More

Spent a great few hours just off the coast looking for whales. Took about an hour for the first group to be spotted and we weren't disappointed with the show. Spent a bit of time waiting for them to resurface but in the end two different groups of mother and baby put on a great exhibition for us. Loved the... More

It is a great value for money trip. It took them about an hour to find the whales, but when we found them there were several and they were jumping flapping their fins and tails we followed them for a while with some pretty close up views. When we went back there was another baby whale jumping in the harbour... More

We weren't sure what to expect when we booked, all we knew was it was $19 cheaper than jetty dive. 8.15am we met at the boat with other passengers. Real mixed bag today - oldies & youngies!! We ended up sitting with two other couples down on the nets of the catamaran while the older passengers sat under cover. We... More

Went on the trip this morning with my daughter and nephew, and had a fabulous time. Lee runs a very professional outfit, ably assisted by the skipper. We were lucky enough to see numerous whales, including a couple that surfaced just in front of the boat, and another couple that breached several times over about half an hour. It was... More

love the fact that we got to see the whales so close up! The catamaran was smooth sailing and the journey was smooth. Small numbers on board ensure good sights. First hour was a bit boring as it was spent spotting for the whales from afar. But once spotted it is a thrill to see so many of them and... More
