What a way to spend a Sunday morning!! It took a while to spot our first whale close-up but we were already excited by seeing them in the distance, on the horizon. When we got close to them they began popping up all over the place. A mother and her calf kept appearing throughout the trip. Not sure if it... More

Spent a great few hours just off the coast looking for whales. Took about an hour for the first group to be spotted and we weren't disappointed with the show. Spent a bit of time waiting for them to resurface but in the end two different groups of mother and baby put on a great exhibition for us. Loved the... More

It is a great value for money trip. It took them about an hour to find the whales, but when we found them there were several and they were jumping flapping their fins and tails we followed them for a while with some pretty close up views. When we went back there was another baby whale jumping in the harbour... More

We weren't sure what to expect when we booked, all we knew was it was $19 cheaper than jetty dive. 8.15am we met at the boat with other passengers. Real mixed bag today - oldies & youngies!! We ended up sitting with two other couples down on the nets of the catamaran while the older passengers sat under cover. We... More

Went on the trip this morning with my daughter and nephew, and had a fabulous time. Lee runs a very professional outfit, ably assisted by the skipper. We were lucky enough to see numerous whales, including a couple that surfaced just in front of the boat, and another couple that breached several times over about half an hour. It was... More

love the fact that we got to see the whales so close up! The catamaran was smooth sailing and the journey was smooth. Small numbers on board ensure good sights. First hour was a bit boring as it was spent spotting for the whales from afar. But once spotted it is a thrill to see so many of them and... More

At $40, this is fantastic value for money and a lovely half day out. It took us a bit to find the whales, but the boat trip was pleasant and Lee and her skipper Chris were friendly. Mitch the dog is very cute too. When we did find them, the whales were beautiful and Lee and Chris's knowledge of how... More

Wow!! That's the only way to express how good it was! When looking for a whale watching boat we wanted something that we could relax on and not be rushed out and back in. The Pacific Explorer with its 360* degree views fit the bill. Lee and the crew including the dog "MIDGE" made us feel welcome. Within minutes of... More
