The name ‘Dolphin Marine Magic’ is a trading name for the iconic Pet Porpoise Pool Pty Limited. Dolphin Marine Magic is located on the beautiful Mid North Coast of NSW, in the city of Coffs Harbour and sits approximately midway between Sydney and Brisbane. We are very close to the jetty precinct and adjacent to the Coffs Creek and we have been ‘edutaining’ (educating/entertaining) and engaging visitors for more than four decades. On Boxing Day in 1970, the marine park opened as a rescue and rehabilitation centre for native marine animals, and we continue with this work. We have a Rehabilitation Licence issued by NSW – Office of Environment & Heritage – NSW National Parks & Wildlife Services. Additionally, we work closely with our local branch of NSW National Parks & Wildlife Services and have a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) with them on how we will work together for the benefit of our native marine animals.

My family had a really good time at the pet porpoise pool. My kids booked to swim with the dolphins, which was not only fun, but educational. The people really look after the animals and get to know them individually. The dolphin the kids swam with had a baby who was in the other end of the pool trying to... More

I visited this place 20 years ago and it has not changed too much. The interaction with the marine life is second to none. My kids enjoyed this place and my teenage daughter was over the moon she could cross a few items off her bucket list, such as kissing a dolphin etc.

My family really enjoyed this. Its great to be able to get so close to the animals and be able to touch them. Its not a full day thing but more a half day but thats okay. $99 for family of 4 but i though it was pretty good value. The seal and dolphin kisses happen pretty quickly but the... More

We had to visit between dolphin shows so were reluctant to visit but in the end it was still worth it. We saw the Reptile show which was fantastically educational, really terrific, and the kids got up close to the dolphins in between shows. A great place for a quick visit as well as a long visit.

I didn't like how the photos with the animal kisses were done, and my camera is only a small simple one, and only 1 kiss per person is allowed, so I didn't get a good photo of my child and there was nobody to take a photo of me, as the staff refuse to do it - they want you... More

We had a stop here on our way home from Queensland and was little to be desired. Firstly we rang before heading and were told that the dolphin and seal interaction/kisses were from 9.30 to 12 and 12.30 til 3.30. There was never a mention that there were designated times in these slots and upon arrival at 1.30 we were... More

This was my third and best visit. The opportunity to have such close contact with the dolphins is almost unparalleled. Every aspect of this visit was great. Expensive if you just watch the shows....but outstanding value if you choose to hang out with the dolphins after the show. The snake talk was fantastic and very informative. I really liked the... We brought our little girl to surprise her. She had been a Blue Zoo fan and had been asking about a visit to this place for so long. We were fascinated by the level of interaction in this marine park. We have been to multiple places around the world, but none of them provides with such interaction as this place.... More

A lovely way to pass 2-3 hours. The animals are well- loved and cared for. The park is unique in that it encourages interactions with the animals, and it is nice that everyone is encouraged to have a go. Feeding the sea lion and penguins is free with entry, as are the dolphin and seal kisses. It is worth timing... More
