My husband and two teenage boys did a half-day rock climbing and abseiling session with Peter. They absolutely loved it and learnt a lot. Peter was extremely knowledgeable and put together a great session for the three of them. Very tired at the end (it was a cold and windy day even though it was early January) but they all... More

We went to Cooma for the Snowy river scheme information. They asked if we wanted to see snow. That's how we ended in the snowy mountains. Absolutely breath taking views. We were able to actually touch snow. Great and amazing day. So many walking tracks to do. It is amazing in spring but can't wait to see it in winter... More

After a trip to Adelong we returned home along the Snowy Mountain Highway via Talbingo. It's a very scenic drive, beautiful countryside, good roads and we even saw brumbies grazing. How lucky we are to live in a country of such diverse natural splendour.

My husband and I love everything about Thredbo in summer and we have added K7 Adventures to our list. We booked a half day rock climbing and abseiling with K7 and it exceeded all of our expectations! The team (we were fortunate enough to climb with the owners of K7, Peter and Acacia) manage the perfect balance of teacher and... More

We did the 23 km Main Range loop, took about six and a half hours. It's classified as hard but you dont need to be very fit. Checked weather condition with the national park services before you take off. Bring a lot of water and a sun hat. The views at every turn was breathtaking, and you walked through many... More

I visited Snowy Mountain in last June and I drove there with a buddy. We started our journey from Canberra quite late that we didn't get the chance to fully appreciate the mountain. It took us 2 hours ++ to get there since we did not dare to drive faster than the allowed speed. On our way, we stopped by... More

We spent four very enjoyable days with an extended family group of 15 in the Snowy Mountains during which we skiid, snow boarded and tobogganed. But for Sandra and I the highlight was the half day photography tour we took with Acacia from K7 Adventures. For us this was an entirely new experience as we snow soed from Perisger up... More

Hi there! Even though it might not be the most challenging mountain in the world, Australia's highest mountain, Mt. Kosioszko, 2228 m, is a nice place to hike and enjoy the beautiful view around. It's technically easy to walk up the mountain (can use the cable car from Thredbo, but it's nicer without), but still it's 950 m in altitude... More

Ive called my review Crystal Clear because that is what you will get when you come to the Snowies in NSW. The nights are crystal clear. Viewing stars as you wonder out to a resturant, pub or cafe at night is a brilliant pastime, the sky over this area has the cleanest air in the world and in winter or... More
