The sky was blue, the mountains were blue, and they looked kuind of merged together; where you could not really make out where one starts & where the other ends. Just stare at the blue scenery & let it melt your stress away. There are many, many trees below, so there is plenty of minus ion (fresh air). Go ahead... More

The Blue Mountains extend for a considerable distance west of Sydney. This does not mean to say that you have travel half the day to get there. You can, for example, travel only as far as Leura or Katoomba, and still experience the grandeur of these mountains. Those with more time may wish to travel further to Blackheath or even... More

When in Sydney we booked a one day excursion to the Blue Mountains. The wheater was uncertain in the morning but fortunately the mist cleared long enough for us to see The Three Sisters and appreciate the area of our tour, Unfortunately, the tour after that was quite disappointing with a stop at a "typical" area village. If typical, they... More

The first day I went there, there was thick fog. But the local people were friendly. They show us birds and trees and told us stories. The next morning, it was sunny. We went to the Victoria Lookout. It was a wonderful land. We saw the Three Sisters and the beautiful waterfall. We stayed at Katomba YHA. It was about... More

We absolutely loved the Blue Mountains, the little towns, and Featherdale wildlife park. Given the chance to go again, though, we would take the train to Scenic World and make our way around, returning to Sydney by train and taking the short journey to Featherdale on another day. Viator, the group with whom I unfortunately booked, provided a very anemic... More

Outstanding bus tour with a stop at the Olympic village. The tour continued on to Featherly Park where we we had pictures taken with the lovely Koalas and saw the many animals indigenous to Australia. The highlights were the Koalas and the Kangaroos with the Joeys. We continued on and had lunch which was quite nice. Finally on to the... More

If you are planning to go to Sydney's Blue Mountain you have to allot one day for this trip. We stayed in Blacktown and from there it took 1 1/2 hours drive... It's a breathtaking scenery and I really loved it especially now that I just lost my husband last January 19, I really had a great time looking at... More
