My husband and I became aware of Amaroo Cruises at the holiday Resort Pacific Palms, where we were staying for a week. We noted on the Resort’s board that whales have been spotted nearby and we went to inquire for the details. Friendly and detailed information lead us to the Amaroo Cruise catamaran, moored in Forster, NSW - http://amaroocruise.com.au. We... More

We had a fantastic morning out with Matt and the crew on 9th July. The crew were friendly and knowledgable, the boat was comfy and clean, and we enjoyed the antics of 2 different dolphin species and a pod of humpback whales. Thoroughly recommended.

Matt and crew were friendly and knowledgable , and the dolphins and lakes an absolute delight. We have been on many cruises , and this is right up amongst the best . Suitable for all ages and great value for money. Don't miss the chance if you are ever in Forster - this is an unforgettable experience!

The tour took 02 hours and we can see many dolphins came out & also whales. Crew very friendly, helpful and giving a lot of information during the trip. It was very challenging in taking picture of whale to get a perfect moment. Unforgettable experience.

Hands down one of the best attractions in Forster. We went out on tour with a group for a 60th which consisted of adults, a toddler & our great grandmother who is 86. Everyone enjoyed the tour so great for all ages. Tour guide was great - provided lots of information on the sights, history & bird/sea life in forster.... More

Took this cruise to watch whales & was not at all disappointed. Morning tea included. Reasonably priced. Two hour duration. Commentary very professional . Very friendly staff. Would do again.

Always a great thing to do while in the Forster area. We saw a couple of whales & numerous dolphins. The boat was clean & well staffed. I thought it was a bit overpriced & this may make it unattainable for some holiday makers (especially those with families). The trip took two hours & it was commentated on the whole... More

I had the most remarkable experience on the Amaroo this morning. Not only was it the most stunning morning I was quite content when we saw the first whales in the distance. Then, I was totally mesmerised by the whales that literally played with us for such a long time. It was magic, I felt so honoured that these incredible... More

We had a two day stay in Forster, it was winter, swimming was out. We spotted the Amaroo site-seeing boat moored near the centre of town. The friendly gentleman at the booth gave us the run down of the trip due to leave in an hour. The boat was crewed by two well informed people who supplied us with local... More

This is a ' must do activity ' in Forster / Tuncurry. We had a magical time on board and it seems that the pods of dolphins appeared on cue. We were delighted to see so many that honestly, I thought that the excitement was bad for my heart....lol. After we left wallis lake and headed towards the ocean we... More
