My headline basically explains my feelings. I felt that charging two adults $36 for a short walk around a garden is a bit rich. The displays are OK but didn't take me away to heaven. Some are actually in need of some TLC and some are just a bit tacky (please get rid of the model cars and dinosaurs -... More

My grandson calls this the little house place. It is intriguing to see the detail in the buildings and the gardens are beautiful. He loves the interactive trains / windmills. We went on the train ride as well. Although there is a cost to enter it is obvious by how well maintained the place is that the upkeep would be... More

Kids love the whole thing, and the displays are made even more amazing with the inclusion of little quirky jokes that are great to pick out.

This made out Canberra trip a success. Truly magnificent. Beautiful gardens, lawns and scenery. The train ride was a blast. Couldn't help but be amazed by the amount of work put into the miniature exhibits. A visit we enjoyed.

This was another wonderful experience in Canberra. Take your time and going around this exhibition and look at everything. Great even for elderly persons as it is mostly flat walking. The train was such fun as well. Do not miss this one

This place just feels like your in England! The flowers a lovely and the models are fantastic ! The price is quite expensive but you should deffently come ! We rode on the mini train, the driver could have given a little talk while going around. The café shuts at 3.00pm which is rather silly. The cream in the scones... More

Stopped here for a couple of hours on the way back to Sydney. Coming from England originally I have been to a fair few model villages. This one is good, beautiful flowers, immaculate lawns, entrance fee a bit pricey but worth a visit. The cafe shuts at 3.30! a bit early and the village itself shuts at 5.00. There is... More

Took my young kids to cockington green and they loved it. They enjoy seeing the mini houses and people and pressing buttons to make the trains go. We rode the steam train aswell which they enjoyed. It's only a short trip around I would give it an hour total.

Cocklington Green - A place that should not missed when visiting Canberra. To stroll around the grounds was beautiful and the work that would be involved in maintaining Cocklington Green to this standard must be never ending. Loved every little part of this place.
