This is a nice little place that picks your curiousity and is relaxing at the same time. The main attractions are the well crafted miniatures of events/landmarks and embassies around the world with mini trains and windmills. They are quite interesting and you will find yourself looking for your country's landmark. There is a small train that goes around the... More

Great place to visit for ALL ages! Easy to walk around, kids and adults delight in the attention to details of the miniature houses, and International buildings and sites. The flowers that adorn the various settings, and surround the mini buildings create a visual feast for your eyes. Gift shop, toilets, areas for picnics and playground, lots of car parking.... More

We visited Cockington Green, after being away from Canberra for many years and the added International section is just marvelous and, as usual, the attention to detail is always amazing. If anyone has not been to revisit, now that this section is complete, make sure to take time to visit.

I've been to Cockington Green many times, but it is truly beautiful in spring. Many different coloured flowers bring the displays to life! My children, husband and I all enjoyed the train ride around the grounds, as well as trying to find the funny little things in each display (like dinosaurs in the English village!).

Gardens always meticulously maintained, and some nice comedic touches to the displays, the gardens are spectacular too. The villages are brilliantly put together. I prefer the English settings to the world display, but that is a personal preference. Plan on 1-2 hours to go through this attraction. The Cafe - food was just OK for my liking, but acceptable.

What a glorious place. The detail was fantastic. The gardens are immaculate, and keep in pristine condition. When we were there the Poppies were all in bloom, and simply beautiful. We were in awe of this beautiful place, and the stunning gardens and all the colour. If you visit Canberra then Cockington Green is a must. You won't be disappointed

We visited Cockington Green today with our kids (ages 5 and 8) today. The detail that has gone into each minature house is amazing! There were pretty flowers all around as well as perfectly manicured lawns. Lots of photo opportunities and the kids loved the train ride. We had lunch at their relaxing cafe before driving home. A must see!!

Very high-quality miniature village with amusing scenery if you take the time to study each "structure". Lots of "photo ops". A bit expensive considering the toilet facilities are basic, the cafe is cramped and there really should be somewhere within easy reach where one can picnic.
