Such a highlight for any family to visit and although single I enjoyed hearing the excitement of young children as they watched the trains going around, waterfalls and the windmills tuning all done by the visitors pressing green buttons on there way around. The second area International was a delight and to see the staff taking so much care of... More

As you enter Canberra on the Barton Highway from Yass and on the left side of the road next to the National Dinosaur Museum is Cockington Green. This little bit of fun in miniature is a great place to wander the immaculate gardens and look at the small scenes. A stress less and relaxing way to entertain the whole family.... More

Situated just across the road from the National Dinosaur museam, we made a day out of the outing. With kids aged 3 and 5 at the time, we all enjoyed this quite a lot. So may different exhibits to explore, so many funny dioramas. Defintely worth visiting with or without kids. Relaxing atmosphere, nice little cafe and train around the... More

This place continues to delight and expand. Allow plenty of time as there is lots to see and appreciate. Wait times for train rides are reasonable. Parking is plentiful and entrance fees are reasonable. Café needs a major revamp - selection of food items was basic and miserable. All in all, well worth a visit - or two!

Visited last Friday (20/2/2015) with my granddaughter who is 5 years old While, in the past, I have only taken our interstate visitors here I was so pleased to visit again and enjoy the wonderment of the meticulously executed miniature displays of life in England. Also great is the international section which gives a taste of life across many continents.... More

The gardens were amazing, surely a great team of talented gardeners, they houses and other displays were most lifelike. Great scones in the coffee shop, best we have ever eaten. Certainly worth the visit.

We took some under 8s to this museum and they absolutely loved it. Plenty of things to spot on the way around with lots of buttons to press. It was also compact enough to keep track of the kids easily. The cafe was good, although a little pricey, but they had a lovely picnic area too.

Kids loved the little houses and the train ride. Nice cafe and gift shop. Really good idea to get the foreign embassies to sponsor some of the buildings, I don't expect the Syrian's will have much money now! Would definitely go again.

One of my favourite places. It's a delight seeing this with little folk who just love this miniature town. Has something for everyone. Well located near a great pub and the dinosaur museum
