It must be 15 years since I visited Cockington Green. I am delighted that I went there again on the 6 July, 2009. It was as wonderful as ever. I love looking for the unexpected and often amusing attachments to the displays. The international section was new to me - it was excellent - many of the castles and churches... more

We were here in early June 2009 and had great fun. My youngest who is 3, was wide-eyed with wonder and couldn't decide which attraction to start with! The kids enjoyed the interactive exhibits e.g. trains, windmills etc. I was here about 17 years ago and it has improved a lot. The cafe is ordinary with little choice for lunch... more

We have just spent the weekend in Canberra ... you may think a weekend isn't long, but we crammed a lot into it, and our first stop Saturday morning was Cockington Green ! I had read the reviews and googled it - but it was far better than what we had expected ! ... ... the small village is amazing... more

While searching the net for things to do in Canberra, I found a site which lists Cockington Green. It was not listed in most sites and tourist brochures, so was relatively unknown. Remembering my wonderful experiences at Madurodam, I decided that it could be worth our 8 hours return-trip drive from Sydney. The car park was almost empty when we... more

Cockington Green Gardens is a really pleasant destination for tourists visiting Canberra.There is something there for all ages, from the little train which circumnavigates the gardens and extensive play area for children to the many exquisitely mastered miniatures, both in the main area and the International Display area.
