Floriade is an annual bulb show put on by the ACT Government, it runs from mid September to mid October. Entry is free except for the 5 nights they open during the month that attract a small entrance fee. The night entry is called NightFest and bookings well in advance are essential as it is always fully subscribed. Each year... More

The gardens and flowers are perfectly displayed and the way the event is organised is terrific. Entry during the day was free and there was a number of themed displayed and stalls plotted around for a bit of browsing.

My daughter and I visited Floriade for the first time this year and found it spectacular. If you love flowers then this is an event for you. Great for kids and adults alike. Will look at trying to get back there again this year as we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves . (Might even take hubby this time)😋

Not to be missed experience when visiting Canberra in September-October. The flowers are beautiful, well tended and the colours are magnificent.

This is a very popular experience, especially for the older people. The gardens are magnificent but they do need to be seen from a height so that you get the full effect. There is a fair amount of walking required so it can be difficult for some but there are wheelchairs available for hire. Also you need to visit Floriade... More

Definitely worth a visit if you're in Canberra around this time. There is also the option of going at night, which means you really can't see the flower displays properly but there are clever lighting displays instead. I'd probably say if you're only going to be in Canberra for a short time, choose daytime for preference. The stalls near the... More

A must see for visitors during Sept/Oct annually. Heaps of tulips and other displays and best of all, it's free. Daily entertainment on Stage 88 a bonus.

It never came close to the hype created around it. It looks like a community fun fair with some flowers thrown in. I enjoyed it for first time but the activities are not special and available anywhere. Could get some decent clicks though

Floriade is definitely something worth going, the flowers are awesome! However, personally I think the night show is really a waste of money, as you're there to enjoy the colourful flowers in the daytime not pay to watch boring lights at the evening, since all the stalls and programmes are going on in the daytime as well. Do note that... More

lovely display, worth multiple trips each season. free petting farm for kids is always a hit, and fairy floss! lovely local sellers with their wares. I did find one night ticket was worth it each season or displays, shows etc.
