Easy day trip from Sydney, worth the drive. Parking close by and the varieties of plants and flowers are fantastic even if not a gardener . East stroll to Civic centre and places to eat

We live in Canberra and go to Floriade at least 3 - 4 times each year. It is world class. The displays are spectacular and easy to see, each year we take our Mum in a wheel chair (hire there) and she looks forward to it and loves it day.

I have been going to Floriade for about 20 years and I don't go just once in the month it's on. The smells the beauty of the flowers and the serenity I get by just sitting and being in the moment. Totally recommend going you won't be disappointed.

Who would have thought that such a wonderful event would be free! Floriade happens in Commonwealth Park on the banks of lake Burley Griffin. Flower beds abound throughout the event site filled to bursting with colourful displays of predominantly tulips but other species as well. There is plenty of entertainment and refreshment on hand or why not take a picnic... More

Each year the staff at Floriade create masterpieces. Such imagination and hard work to present a brilliant display of flowers each year. I live interstate, and don't get to visit often, but this is my 5th visit to Floriade, and I enjoy it every time. A must to see in Canberra.

Floriade is an annual bulb show put on by the ACT Government, it runs from mid September to mid October. Entry is free except for the 5 nights they open during the month that attract a small entrance fee. The night entry is called NightFest and bookings well in advance are essential as it is always fully subscribed. Each year... More

The gardens and flowers are perfectly displayed and the way the event is organised is terrific. Entry during the day was free and there was a number of themed displayed and stalls plotted around for a bit of browsing.

My daughter and I visited Floriade for the first time this year and found it spectacular. If you love flowers then this is an event for you. Great for kids and adults alike. Will look at trying to get back there again this year as we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves . (Might even take hubby this time)😋
