This science centre was a great half day out in Canberra. Very long walk from the car park though. The exhibits were very well contructed, the engineering show very funny and great gifts in the gift shop. Loved all the experiments just hanging from the roof or in the public places too. more
We recently visited Canberra, specifically to visit Questacon with our twin eleven yr olds. Unfortunately the whole place needs to have some money spent on it. It may have been ok 5 years ago, but science is moving forward fast. The only thing my boys enjoyed was the 'roller coaster' simulator in the sideshow hall. Younger children might enjoy it... more
I've always had fond memories of Questacon from childhood so I came back with my friends on a roadtrip and its still as good as ever. Admittedly, we're probably the only one from our age group playing there but it was still alot of fun. Great place for kids or those that are kids at heart. more
Another fantastic place to visit in Canberra especially for children. Everything is hands on and very interesting and educational. Even my 1 year old had a good time in Mini Q, especially the waterplay area. The best thing about Qusetacon was the rollercoaster because it was a fun ride. All the rides were great, it is a great place to visit. more
