Came down from sydney to canberra to visit. Went to Moon Rock Cafe. One word: HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!! Was ignored by FIVE waitstaff. When asked if I was going to be served, the old man snapped at me. No apology for the terrible service. Took my business elsewhere. Suggest you all do the same. TERRIBLE. MOON ROCK CAFE = HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

This Deep Space Communication facility is a drive out of Canberra and nestled in some hills to protect it from the noise of the City. Due to the winding road be careful with children looking down during the journey. The Visitors centre shows that the Centre is owned by NASA and run by Australians, There are a number of interactive... More

If you crave knowledge this is the place to go. So interesting with different types of medium. Our kids loved this place when we came many years ago. How many good places do you get to go to that has free entry. It is a long drive out to here but beautiful county side on the way and well worth... More

As a museum related worker I was not expecting much from this visit, as i have hardly heard about it. However my kids talked me into a visit and I was happily surprised with the exhibitions. Great artefacts from some of the space missions on display and a good playground as well.

Anyone who loves an Apollo story needs to go once. Nice static displays, a couple of videos. Unfortunately no humans from the centre to talk to.

I visited the Deep Space Centre with my grandchildren aged 5 and 9 on Easter Saturday. My mistake, but it was the only day we had. the centre itself is well worth a look. Has all you need to know about deep space and even kept the kids busy and interested for at least half an hour. We then headed... More

This place is way out in Tidbinbilla, but it is worth the time and trouble to visit. The information about Australia's contribution to NASA is interesting.

Excellent. Allow yourself time to see and take photos. Look out for animals in evening on roads. Take binoculars.
