In the fall of 2013, my husband and I spent a week doing a cooking class at Toscana Saporita. This past November, we were very fortunate to return and take part in the advanced class. It was absolutely fabulous!! The amount of material covered was incredible. Plus we had the great pleasure of eating our creations! I have never tasted... More

I am not new to the kitchen. I have loved to cook all my life and can follow a recipe, but I had never taken a class before Toscana Saporita. What I experienced at Toscana Saporita was so much more than I could have ever imagined and exceeded my expectations. The school is located on the grounds of the Agriturismo... More

We just came back from our 2nd trip to Toscana Saporita, this time for the advanced class. We did "take it up a level" and our cooking will be so much better thanks to Sandra, Chris and their team. As with our last trip, the school is more focused on techniques and building blocks than learning recipes. Pastry, Bread, Meats,... More

This class was so much fun. The villa itself was very charming and relaxing. I learned so many cooking tips and am trying new things every week. Sandra and Christopher are so knowledgeable and amusing which made this cooking class so enjoyable. The food was every bit as beautiful as it was delicious! The cooks spoiled us and made us... More

After a pleasant journey and flight, at Pisa airport, we were met by Enzo our driver and guide. We enjoyed the beautiful Tuscan scenery on the way to the cookery school, which is in a delightful rural setting and complex. We were warmly welcomed and taken to our full of character comfortable suite. The weather began warm and sunny and... More

And the food, the food is ALL 5 star!!! We cooked and learned for a few hours every day. We ate fabulous meals, and then were taken on fun excursions. You really do get your... More

My wife and her sisters, spread between California and New Zealand, came up with the idea of a family get together at a cooking school in Italy. As a male with modest cooking skills and interest, I wasn't overly enthusiastic, but was finally persuaded to go along by acknowledging that at least the food would ( I hoped) be okay.... More

We chose Toscana Saporita as a cooking school destination (for our 40th wedding anniversary) on the recommendation of friends who had been there a few years ago and had nothing but positive comments. They were correct! It was an amazing experience. Sandra and her staff could not have been more friendly and knowledgeable. By the time we left, we felt... More

The location was wonderful. A rural farm with quiet, clean comfortable rooms. The school was both educational and really really fun! The chef Sandra is a wealth of knowledge about food, science, ingredients, flavours and techniques. The meals were amazing and so much fun. We really lucked out with only four of us for the week we were there. We... More
