I've never known this beach over-crowded, even in the height of Summer. On a sunny Bank Holiday Monday, there was a nice bustle about the place, but plenty of space. The beach is sheltered, and largely sandy, but with a few rock pools for the inquisitive. Served by a great beach cafe, and only a few minutes walk from Westgate-on-Sea... More

A lovely friendly beach, the people are nice and the beach is well maintained and taken care of, the sun sets are beautiful and toilets are very easily accessible, the café is well looked after and is nice and clean on the inside and has a wide range of foods and beverage.

This cafe has the best view in Thanet. It is a wonderful stopping point if you are out for a seaside stroll or a bike ride along the prom. They offer a good range of food , reasonably priced. And on sunny days you can seat outside. Definately worth a visit

This beach is always clean and never crowded. The café is amazing either for a breakfast on a winters morning or a bottle of wine and cheesy chips on a summers evening.

This beach has the most amazing sun sets. It also has the best rock pools to go exploring in, lots of crabs and welks. You may find shrimps and other creatchers.

Went to Westgate yesterday for a day trip with our children and grand children. The weather was overcast but the grandchildren had a great time on the beach while the tide was coming in digging sand castles. I was surprised by the number of people that were there the beach was almost empty. With free parking on the road and... More

We were heading to Minnis Bay but came to this bay first so stayed here, lovely sandy beach, we arrived at high tide so only a tiny bit of sand but by the time we had got ourselves organised it had gone out a lot, not to busy even though we were here on a sunny Sunday in school holidays,... More
