Visited this place twice- on 15th Aug and on 18th Aug,Unfortunately could not manage to get darshan owing to heavy rush with a waiting period of 3 hours plus.They have paid darshan facility but the waiting was around 2.5 hours. I visited Trimbakeshwar temple in August 2014. It was an awesome experience. The temple opens at 05:00 am on mondays and at 05:30 on other days. To avoid all the mad rush in general queue, there is a separate paid ticket entry which is very fast.

It is one of the Jyotirling and visiting and having darshan is always a divine experience. Nice place surrounded by a lot of mountains and greenery. Must visit - it is a master piece of architecture.

The temple is situated 179 kms from Mumbai along the Mumbai-Nashik highway.The journey through the ghats is relaxing.You will see waterfalls mostly on every hill.The clouds hang low during this time.i.e during monsoons.
