Situated roughly 40 kms from Nashik, this is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is one of the jyotirlingas. Here we have three lingas signifying Bramha, Vishnu & Mahesh. The drive from Nashik is smooth and has hillocks in the shape of a table and others like a shivaling protuding from the top. The temple itself is not majestic... More

It is located at the source of the Godavari River, the longest river in peninsular India. The Godavari River, which is considered sacred within Hinduism, originates from Bramhagiri mountains and meets the sea near Rajahmudry. Kusavarta, a kund is considered the symbolic origin of the river Godavari, and revered by Hindus as a sacred bathing place.

One of the jyothirlingas and very sad to see not well maintained. Have visited somanath and Nageshwar but this is horrible place. Went for a normal darshan, darshan happened with in 30 minutes. Can't see god from near by, you can see only from 3-4 feet back. Three linga's Brahma, Vishnu & Maheshwara, also you could see the parvathiamma idol... More

The temple is a shiva temple where we can see three lingas for Brahma, vishnu and shiva and we can see ganga beside the three lingas inside the main shrine.

Holy place and divine. Drive from Mumbai via Nashik highway, takes around 2.30 hours non stop. Nashik highway is a cruise. Roads from Nashik to Trimbak are wide but undergoing maintenance, hence not very smooth. Visit before rains. Try to visit before the heat starts in the morning. Long queues or pay at temple administration for ultra quick darshan, currently... More

Trimbakeshwar is a jyoterling near Nasik. This temple was build by Queen Ahilya Bai Holkar. Temple is good but the climate apart from monsoon season is very harsh. If u visit in summers then make sure u carry ample amount of water and cucumber to save you from heat stroke. Queues are normally long. I'll suggest not to offer milk... More

Trimbakeshwar is one of the 12 jyotirlingas.. everyone know this but seldom people realize that the Maha mrityunjay mantra starts with "Om trimbakam yaja mahe...". So this temple has got a greater significance compared to others. Awesomely placed. Just below the mountains. Structured as per exact Vastu. When sun rises.. the sun rays directly enters the temple which is so... More
