We visited the Parrott Zoo on a very wet July afternoon. There are lots of different Parrotts to see and for an extra £1 you can buy monkey nuts to feed to the birds through the cages. The parrots were surprisingly gentle when you feed them. You can also buy millett for a £1 too so you can feed the... More

This was our third visit to Parrot Zoo, the investment and improvements make it more enjoyable every visit. The staff are very friendly, the layout of the zoo means nothing is missed with plenty of seating areas for my mum to rest on the way round. We had lunch in the restaurant whilst there the food was excellent reasonably priced,... More

This is the second time we've visited The Parrot Zoo and it's improved and changed a fair bit since our first visit a couple of years ago. The lady on the ticket desk was friendly and very knowledgable. We bought a selection of food to feed the various animals (not just parrots here!) and she told us about the many... More

If you love birds but in particular parrots this is the place to visit, brilliant as is the birds plumage in many cases. An abundance of some many types and colours, I did not know there were so many. A brilliant visit for the kids as many of the caged birds talk to you and there is so much to... More

I last visited this attraction some years ago with my older grandchildren. This time I was taking a 2yr old and I had doubts if she would enjoy it. Wow! This place has changed for the better. Level concrete paths, a new restaurant with fish tanks to entertain youngsters to while they eat, lots of entertaining parrots (of course) mere... More
