Bored on a Saturday morning watching tv we saw a parrot having a bath and thought "lets go to the parrot zoo", it was a spur of the moment thing not a planned day out. I would advise gift aiding your entry fee for those who can and grabbing a few bags of food from the kiosk to feed the... More

Fantastic little zoo I've now bought a season ticket as my children love the place to bits especially the walk through aviary and the tigers.

the park is good but definately couldnt really spend a whole day in here. kids had a good time. i do feel though that it is a little over priced because its not a massive area to look round but i suppose you dont mind paying it as they have taken in and looked after sick/injured parrots. its worth a... I been here several times and love it more every time. Took mum and grandson and we all enjoyed ourselves, despite the near monsoon conditions. Food in café is good, animals are great, loved the tigers. The only thing that lets it down are the toilets, they're a bit grim. Will no doubt be back. Worth every penny

We queued for ages to get in and only one kiosk was open! It isn't the first time I've been and each time l go l see it is growing and developing. Some parrots are tatty and have sores because they are rescues.. Nearly all are rescues, though some are inherited. All are well kept and enjoy the entertainment provided by... More

I was lucky enough to win a tiger experience at The Parrot Zoo and words cannot describe how fantastic it was. We were able to get up close to feed the tigers, the feel of a tigers tongue on my hand is not something I'll forget. It was fascinating hearing about how the tigers had been rescued and the owners... More

What an awesome place! There's a large number and variety of happy, friendly parrots. You can buy a big bag of monkey nuts for £1 which lets you get much closer to the birds, some of which even talk to you! There's also other animals including meercats, reindeer and tigers. Although I'm not sure how the tigers put up with... More
