I spent the wit week in Skegness and me and my partner decided to pay a visit to the local zoo. The road going into the zoo is a bit uneven and has pot-holes but nothing to worry about. We found a space and parked up, we got some food to feed the animals from the front desk(£1 per bag).... More

such a wonderful experience to see the many different parrots here, some are rescues and will talk with you if you give them some time. The Tigers, mum and three cubs were intriguing to watch.. A few other animals there and it was a very relaxed atmosphere. Enjoyed the walk through enclosure where you can be up close with different... More

I can't believe I live 15 mins from here and I've never been. It's a lovely place, very well maintained, clean and tidy. Really friendly, animals looked well looked after and the tigers are lovely! We decided to eat at the zoo as it would be a lot easier, we tried food from the cafe and the hut near the... More

Well, having first been here last year I left a very positive review! Unfortunately our recent trip was spoiled by events in the restaurant. As a vegetarian family we found the menu lacking (I mentioned this to management last year!). Is it so hard to stock a few veggie burgers? All items with the V beside them include cheese (cheese... Wow what a place, did not think I would like it when arrived outside, but once inside, boy was I surprised it was brilliant, everybody was brill as well, my daughter paid for a tiger experience, and she had a whole hour feeding the Tigers in their cages, and then was allowed to open the gates to let them into... What a wonderful day out. Make sure you buy feed at the entrance. I thought loads of parrots..... but what a revelation. it is really interesting, parrots, meerkats, lemurs, tapir, reindeers, and TIGERS. The mother and her 3 cubs OMG, and because of the set up you are 2 feet or less away from them. Humbling, awe inspiring, incredible. this... More

Really different zoo experience, with a lot of entertaining birds. easily spent several hours looking around, and had a lovely picnic in one of the many available places. highlights were the open aviary where the parrots come and sit on your shoulder and are free to interact with whoever is willing to feed them some millet. whilst many of the... Admission price is fair. Feeding the parrot's peanut's is entertaining, just watch your finger's!!! The walk in aviary is great. Especially when the biggest bird in there landed on my fiancé's head, very amusing. Food a bit over priced, however the double cheeseburger is worth the money. The place is very clean and well kept, although the toilets left a... More

Excellent, clean and informative. Only dislike is the overpriced and limited cafe, but just take a picnic and flask and have a great day out :-D

we found a leaflet advertising this venue whilst on holiday last week and decided to go as it was not far from Skegness where we were on holiday. The zoo is well signposted on the A52 as you leave Skegness heading towards Boston. The main attraction must be a family of Tigers which consists of the mother and three 28... More
