Its the perfect place to relax and enjoy the nature. The water is cristal clean and the sand is white. It seams like Caribian beach :-)

Walk 10 mins to the right when you come off the jetty, the beach is much less crowded. I'm glad we made the day trip from Santiago for this (July 2013) The restaurant prices were not as extortionate as I expected but if I went back I would probably try to take a picnic as it is cheaper and more... Rodas beach on Islas Cies has the reputation of being as being the best beach in the world (according to a column in the Guardian). My advice would be to avoid it, and make your way to the much smaller, much more beautiful cove called Figueiras Beach. Take a right turn after leaving the boat jetty, and walk for approx... More

We went with the ferry of Mar de Ons to this beautiful island. But we were not the only ones... Spanish holidays (25th of July) began so it was crowded. The island and de white sandy beaches are great! Water a bit cold, but it is lovely for a swim! To eat, we recommend to go to the little 'restaurant'... More

Don't be scared of the cold water after a few splashes you will feel amazing! Still my dream come true on this earth...or... More

Clear water, white sand, blue sky, great scenery. What more can you want in a beach? Ok, maybe warmer water but this is the North Atlantic. Good for the circulation!

Great island with amazing beach... Couple if points to help 1- reserve the tickets of the ferry in advance (specially in the summer) otherwise if you just show up you may not go 2- get sun block! The ride to Cies is about 45 min and if you stay on the sun deck of ferry it may be cloudy but... More

Drove down from Santiago de Compostela in about an hour along the very fast and beautiful highway. Arrived in Cangas about 11. A WORD OF WARNING: if you're coming into town by car, be aware of what will happen if you come in on market day (Friday). We spent ages driving round the harbour, where cars were double and triple...
