Calauas Island is a pristine island with powdery white sand beach in Bicol region in the Philippines. It is always compared to Boracay because of the white sand. the difference is, it is still considered as the virgin island because few people know it. there is no concrete structure at island and most the tourist stay in the camping tent when visiting the island.

If you love pristine beaches and off grid destinations, Calaguas Island is a go-to place. Just don't go there on weekends and holidays as hugh throng of people will crowd the place. Its powdery white sand is comparable to Boracay, Panglao, and Britania Islands.

Best beach I've ever visited. It is paradise. The sand was so fine and white. the water is crystal clear. The travel from Manila to the island was a drag, took us 8-9 hours road trip and more than hour of boat ride but when we got there, it was all so worth it!

This beach is superb with its fine white sand. It takes a long land travel time from Manila, but worth it to see. It's not yet well developed, so it's beauty is still sparkling and preserved as they don't allow bonfires.

The best island I visited, super relaxing and fresh Island. For the first timer who try Calaguas I suggest much better if you bring tent and food because the value of this are expensive on Island.

Long travel hours is worth it seeing this paradise. Upon stepping down our boat to this island, we fell in love with the beach. The sand is white and powdery, almost like that of Boracay. And the water is very clear! This set our standard of a beautiful beach, so far. Will go back to this island!
