Not only one but 4 islands that we visited on this summer beach getaway!. I went together with my brothers and sisters from Ang Lingkod ng Panginoon Alabang, my beloved community. We also invited friends to join us. We had a great tour guide who is really familiar with the place. We left Alabang around 11 pm and hired 2... More

The beauty that Calaguas has to offer is undeniable. The boat ride to the island is a treat itself -- especially if you love seeing islets and also, being splashed with water every so often. You have to be prepared cause it's going to be a really, really, really long ride -- if I remember it right, over an hour... More

Calaguas is such a beautiful island. I was with my travel buddies and we enjoyed the place. It's definitely one of the best island to visit...from the clear water, fine white sand and surrounding sceneries - almost paradise. It's a secluded place, far from the crowd. A very laid-back island, simple and stress-free. It's where you can experience a simple... More

me and my niece were the only ones frolicking in the perfectly aquamarine crystal clear waters and super fine white sand! The month was still perfect without the terrifying big waves that we were told that we would encounter depending on the season. During night time, we had fun pointing at the stars as the sky was super dark with... More

Calaguas is beyond my expectations. I was not prepared for the beauty it offers. The almost 2.5 hours of rough boat ride was worth it. Mahabang Buhangin is one of the best beaches I've seen so far, even better than the crowded Boracay. The fine white sand, pristine water and the clear blue sky will surely melt all your stress... Worth more than the extreme adventure we encountered on the way to the island. It was November a monsoon season when we visited the place. Although it was raining that day but the rain had stopped when we left Paracale. The water was calm when we start sailing but few minutes later big waves came bumping our boat. The sea... More

Witnessing this slice of paradise with your own eyes was almost heaven on earth. It was just beautiful with its pristine water, sparkling sand and azure sky. It was by far the best beach I've ever seen in my whole life. With a very affordable trip from Manila, a heavenly experience will be all yours in Calaguas :D

If you're tired of crowded beaches - thsi island is for you. White sand, clear waters, most gorgeous sceneries - it was a welcome relief for us stressed out yuppies. Participated in a backpacking tour organized by CalaguasLocals. Pitched tents by the beach - great outdoor experience. Since it's an island, there is no electricity and no proper bathrooms -... More

The very first time I saw and read about Calaguas, I said to myself, "I will be in that place..Soon” I fulfilled my promise and asked a friend if she can draft an itinerary. After the never ending road going to Caramoan, we then went back to Paracale, Camarines Norte, the point where we need to hire a bangka going... More
