I've visited this place for two times already. I never get tired of the the beautiful place. It's paradise. I don't mind the long hours drive and 2 hours boat ride. It's all worth it. I love the sea and camping. I got to enjoy the mobile bar at night and some activities. I love watching the sunset and star... More

Imagine walking in fine sand as in like powder (on the left side of the island). Love it Just remember there's a 10-20 pesos fee for the pail of water :P

Hi, thank you for a beautiful feedback, we are sorry for your disappointment at the present situation of CR on our island, this is the livelihood of our local residents here to charge you for fetching of water from the pump since they make an effort to do it for you. however we are working on for this issue to... To be honest, the tours they offer to go here are highly overrated. They send you on a brutal cramped shuttle ride from manila to camarines norte, which was around 9 hours depending on the traffic, then on a 3 hour boat ride...to see a beach that had sand. There was nothing spectacular, a lot of other beaches in the... More

A long stretch of beach with powdery soft white sand surrounded by low lying hills without any commercial establishment, no hotels or resorts--just camping. Aquamarine waters teeming with marine life with bright blue waves lapping at the shore.

wow. i'm jubilant to see this island! raw, untouched, rugged, unspoiled - just a few words that perfectly describe Calaguas. I must visit this again! Tip: avoid going here on a peak season. it's hard to line up for hours on the comfort room and water pump station. and bring lots of food!

Remote, quite and non-commercialised unlike boracay. They do have the same quality of sands and very clear pristine bluish waters. Corals are everywhere too so better to bring snorkeling gears. Need to bring lots of food to be cooked as well as water for there is no market and restaus around. Also dont forget to bring alcoholic drinks since it... More

For me, Calaguas is one of the best beach in Bicol or even here in the Philippines. Though the place is becoming too popular today and many tourists visited the place , still its locals maintained the cleanliness of the beach .The place is serene. Going alone / on the small group in the island is a bit expensive because... More

I'll definitely choose Calaguas over Boracay. It's definitely of of the best beaches here in PH. It's a 10-12 hour travel (by land and sea) from Manila, though this island will just blow you away once you step foot on its pure white sand that can be compared to the sand with the White beach in Boracay. We chose a... More

This beach is very nice with its fine white sand and crystal clear water. Travel time is quite long but worth it.
