The tour was GREAT but what was awful was to look some guy taking out the coral from the reef to sell it, It was too expensive compared with Isla Mujeres but still a great place to visit. More

If you are looking for untouched reefs and a lot of colourfull fish, going for snorkeling or diving to PM is the right choice. You can see not only fish but also eagle-rays, turtles if you are lucky, moray eels and a lot of other marine life. GREAT More

We had a great time snorkelling in Puerto Morelos! We walked down to the pier from our hotel and only paid $50 USD for two people for a 2.5 hour snorkelling trip. They asked us to come back in an hour so more people could sign up for our tour. No problemo! We walked over to the plaza and did... More

Who knew I'd love snorkeling so much? So nice, we went twice! The water was warm and clear and we saw everything, the most brightly colored fish to jellyfish, urchin, and lobster hiding in the reef. More

We went snorkeling with Paz. If you ask around in Puerto Morelos you'll probably be able to track him down. He was great. We snorkeled with our 5 and 7 year olds and it was just perfect. We went in Nov. 2010, but the date selector won't let me go back that far. More

We tried one of the snorkeling day trips to Isla Mujeres and didn't see much coral -- plus the experience was much more like a floating frat party. Avoid those offers. The best deal is the fishing coop or the small booths on the North East corner of the square. For $25 US each we had a great two-hour trip... More

This area is well maintained. Big groups though, I got kicked several times by people. They took us out to two different areas on the boat, the first was shallow and filled with lots of fish. We even saw a big stingray. The second area was much deeper and full of giant coral formations. I don't know what other areas... More
