I absolutely loved this zoo!! It's so different from other zoos due to the interaction! The tour guide was very nice and knew what he was talking about. I got to hold a crocodile, parrot, and a snake (which I was terrified of but at least now I can say I did it!) You can feed the Mexican hairless dogs... More

Really enjoyed the interactiveness of this zoo. Our guide was very knowledgeable and it made for a nice afternoon excursion. Great thing to do when you just want a morning or afternoon away from the resort. Definitely recommend.

The zoo was only minutes from my resort so I thought it would be a fun and quick excursion for my husband and I to do while we were on our honeymoon. Admission comes with an hour long tour which was fun and educational. It was very fun being able to interact with the animals (I got to hold an... More

I was personally terrified at first because I am not an animal lover and the notion of wild animals freely roaming around me almost put me over the edge. However, this was a professionally run tour of about an hour, and it was safe. :) My five year old has a boa constrictor around his neck, and held a baby... More

This is a ways from Cancun, on the way to Playa del Carmen. It is fun and worth a stop for a couple hours if you have time. The animals are well cared for and the guide who takes you around very informative.

It's a small zoo but a great way to spend a couple of hours. You have a guided walk around the zoo. Our guide was very informative and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Definitely worth a visit.

I was a little surprised at the price but hey it was totally worth it... lots and lots of hands on interaction. Kids were in their 20s so if they enjoyed it, younger ones will too

This place is open 9-5 daily. $30 adults, $18 seniors. You must reserve before coming but you don't have to pick a time of arrival. It is a fully guided tour of the zoo. The guide provides abundant info and you are allowed to handle/feed crocs, parrots, snakes, monkeys, deer, and native hairless dogs. This tour allows many great chances... More

Did not get to go this trip, but have been to the Crococun Zoo many times. It is a great place to spend part of the day with the kids and they can stretch it to a full day if you let them. Warm, friendly people and you can interact with many of the animals.

I enjoyed this small zoo. I got to hold a crocodile and walk amongst many crocs. Our tour guide Omar was good. We found all the staff we came in contact with a good sense of humour about the birds, crocs, and snakes. The only down side was it was a little pricey at $30 for adults. I'd recommend it.
