Yes, it is pricey. Yes, it is worth it. I do question what they do with the alligators and deer as they get older. We never asked at the time, but then wondered later. They have lots, but obviously not the space to keep breeding them, but they obviously are breeding them. Ethical issues aside, it is a great place... More

This zoo was a nice little afternoon activity, and kids absolutely love to see all the baby crocs! :)

I got to hold a crocodile. They are very responsible with the monkeys and I got a feeling that this place is good for the animals and the area.

We brought our boys 5 and 7 to this zoo, and they could not have been happier with the hands on experience they received. The guide was very informative, spoke excellent English, gave lots of little interesting bits of information about Mexico and the animals in there, and the zoo itself was well maintained and the animals well kept. We... More

We traveled with our 2 and 3 year old daughters through the zoo giving them an experience most never have. The tour is completely guided, lasts 1 hour, and very informative. The groups they admit are very small, it was only 4 adults and 4 children in our group. The guide is well informed on the animals and happy to... More

Yes, it's pricey, but it's also one of the few special activities I found in the area appropriate for young (under age 5) kids. Our guide was knowledgeable and very patient with our 3.5 year old. The grounds were nice and shady, and the path would have even been suitable for a stroller (few if any stairs, smoothly paved). Tthere... More

I always try where possible to promote anything which educates and helps raise awareness of animals, but at the same time I do expect good value for money and to get what I pay for.  In both cases I felt the zoo fell somewhat short.  To begin with we were advised that for our thirty dollar per person entry fee... Interactive zoo, you can hold a snake, or crocodile or see the huge python snake..chat with the birds or feed bananas to monkey. Small enough where you actually learn something about the animals you see. Go and walk thru the alligator pit, or see the hairless dogs. Very interesting and very knowledgable staff....a must see with young children. Our grand... More

We had a great time at Crocun!!! I loved holding a crocodile and walking through an area with 40 of them within 2 feet of me! It was very clean and informative! Thank you to Kyle for a great visit... And for insisting I hold Penny the snake!

We visited the zoo on afternoon after enough sun! So glad we did. Really enjoyed seeing all the creatures. Being that close and interacting was awesome! You get a private tour guide who explains everything. Lily was great! It's not a large place but worth it. They are more like a refuge. Rescue animals that are abused, being bred, or... More
