My husband booked this for me while we were in Mexico. It was great! Low-key but very informative. We took turns cutting and prepping the food under the chef's watchful eye. When each course was done, we ate! Then,we all came home with recipes. I would do it again in a minute.

I first attended a cooking class here 4 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it but this one was even better. The chef was Salvadore and he was a wealth of information about Yucatan and other Mexican regional cooking. We made many different things and had quite a feast. One thing to note is that it lasts much longer than expected... More

I took a class about the cooking of Oaxaca last year. Over the year, I made pretty good fresh salsa. Last week I took a "home cooking" class. There was some repetition between the classes, which was useful. I'll make some successful roasted salsas now. We made different main and side dishes and dessert. My classmate went back to our... My sister and I got this for my parents for Christmas. In the end a total of 5 of us went and we all had a great day! First of all the location is key. The begining of the class takes place in a covered patio that is awesome. You can sit at your table and feel the nice breeze... More

I was a little nervous to do something off the beat and path but this cooking school was completely worth it! Salvador is fantastic, incredibly knowledgeable about mexican and other cuisine, and so personable. We learned so much and the food was incredible. If you enjoy cooking, do this!! You won't be disappointed!

My wife and I experienced the class together. We took a taxi from our resort to Puerto Morelos. We arrived and hung out with others awaiting the class. There were 6 couples (one each from Canada, England & Germany), including 3 from parts of the U.S., and one single person. We spent 5 hours learning about Mexican cooking & history.... More

If you want to get off the beaten path of tours. Go to school to learn how to cook Mexican. We made four different salsas fish tocos and soup. You learn how to use peppers and citrus in your salsas. It was amazing. Would recommend to everyone.
