I have never been to a cooking school but after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor, I thought I would give this one a try. I am so glad I spent a day out of the sun. We learned not only some new cooking recipes and techniques but also the history of food and spirits in the Mexican culture. I would... More

If you're looking for a little something different to do other than a tour/excursion, this is definitely what you should pick! We did the class Tuesday, April 10 (for my birthday!). It was my husband, my mom and I, and it was great for all of us. So many interesting things to do and learn between the food and the... More

The day was filled with information about spices, vegetables, cooking techniques, eating. Everyone in the group helped with the preparation of the meal. We also sampled different drinks and heard the history of them from Cat. The chef was helpful and he was also very funny at times. He did real good in keeping the whole group busy. More

My husband and I recently visited the Riviera Maya on our honeymoon and we decided to take this cooking class. It was a great full-day experience. Chef Pablo is so funny and a great teacher. This class is interesting because it is not just about cooking; they teach you about the history of how things came to be in Mexico.... More

Most amazing experience! We came home from our vacation and headed straight to the grocery store to buy ingredients to make our own tortilla's and salsa! We learned so much from Chef Pablo & Catriona. The class was a great mix of educational and hands. If you want a true Mexican experience that isn't "touristy" this is it. Thanks for... More

My daughter and I attended a class taught by Chef Pablo and Catriona in the middle of our 9 day vacation. It was good to escape the blazing sun for a day and about a 30 minute ride from Playa del Carmen, $30 USD cab fare. The class lasted from 10:00-3:30. We really enjoyed learning, smelling, tasting, handling, preparing and... More

The meal and class were the best part of my trip to the Cancun/Riviera Maya! The experience was a good combination of hands-on and demonstration. Both Chef and the owner shared historical and culinary tips that helped us to enjoy a total Mexican experience. OK-- the tequila didn't hurt either! I bought some of the kitchen items in their store... More

I heard about this school through a travel site and immediately turned to trip advisor, and really liked what I read, so I booked it. I was very impressed at the content and of the course and the number of things that we were able to prepare. It was very hands on, and while we transitioned between courses, we got... More
