I attended a cooking class at the end of June. I cannot say enough great things about the experience. Thank you Chef Pablo and Mrs. Brown for the hospitality and perfect setting to learn excellent and useful tools and tips...along with how to properly prepare things I love (salsa and guacamole). Highly recommended to all!

Thank you for taking the time to write about your day! We are having a wonderful start to the coming season and Pablo and I are excited about the new menus we are creating for the students to take home. We have some new programs coming up for the school as well - including a class that is just all... More

I confess - I'm a foodie! I like making it, serving it, and eating it. And luckily, I was on a trip with friends that also like most of these things too. So, convincing them to do this class with me was easy. Growing up in the Southwestern US, I thought I knew alot about Mexican cooking - not so!... More

My daughter and I had lots of fun and thoroughly enjoyed our mexican culinary class with Chef Pablo. He is extremely knowledgable and very well trained, and easily could run a very nice, upscale dining venue if he chose to. Our menu for the day was very authentic mexican, delicious, and educational. The four students, an American couple, my daughter... More

My husband and I are both experienced cooks and we can honestly say we walked away with new and valuable cooking tips. The day was paced out nicely and the food was excellent. It truly was a "hands on" experience also.

My sisters and I had a wonderful time at the Little Mexican Cooking School with Chef Alfonso! He started with indigenous mexican cooking, explaining about the different peppers and other ingredients in the salsa that we then made. It was very hands on, we took turns cooking, chopping, grinding and tending. We sampled all the different salsas on corn tortillas with... More

We spent a day last week at the Little Mexican Cooking School, and we loved it. Let me tell you what to expect. When you arrive you will see a nice patio area, a small store, and be offered refreshments -- coffee with some kind of Mexican kick, homemade pastries. There were 14 people in our class. After a brief... More

A group of friends attended this past Feb. Over all we had a nice time. The people are very nice. I do feel that they could manage their time better. Start the hardest project first so it can have time to cook instead of rushing it and everyone having to sit around and wait. Kinda reverse the order of things... More

If your looking for something unique and non-touristy this is the perfect way to spend a day on vacation. I learned so much about Mexican cooking and gained the confidence to try making some of my own salsas and tortillas at home. We received an adorable apron and copies of the recipes we made plus a few extras to try... More

Before we left California we booked a cooking class at The Little Mexican Cooking School for one day during our stay at the Grand Mayan Palace. I must admit I was a little dubious before I got there but what a delight. The class consisted of maybe 10 people, the hostess/hotel owner was extremely polite and gracious. Our chef Alfonso... More

If you would like a great experience take a class at the Little Mexican Cooking School. What fun. I learned so much about peppers. I am not afraid of them anymore. The class keeps you involved the whole time. You prep, cook, eat and enjoy. Well done..
