Great little book store that you can buy new or used books, get all kinds of info including places to stay. Very helpful and friendly staff. They also sell hot sauces, vanillas and other assorted bags, etc. Another go to place.

A sweet little used bookstore in town. Many books to choose from in both English and Spanish. Take a walk through and browse the shelves, then walk to the corner cafe and have a cappucino!

We stumbled across the Alma Libre website when we were searching for a vacation on the Rivera Maya in 2011. As I surfed around the web links on the site we became more convinced that we needed to visit Puerto Morelos. My family and I stayed at the Now Jade just down the road and popped into town to visit... More

I have checked out many used book stores in Mexico and I found this one to be very expensive. Also the reception was far from pleasant. Oh well I am not there to make friends, but it does influence my patronage.

Our prices are very similar to what you would pay in a shop in Canada or the US. We use the same formula for our used books. Take a new trade paperback, price new is $16 US. At a used bookstore in the Texas for example, you would pay $8 plus sales tax of 8.25%, so you would pay $8.66,... More

I discovered this book store online while trying to learn more about Puerto Morelos before our upcoming stay there. Their webpage is incredible with tons of useful information on transportation, restaurants, bars, and things to do in Puerto Morelos. I also emailed the owner who was kind enough to email me back, answering my questions. Then, when we were down... More

By the time I met the owners, their wonderfully helpful website made me feel like I already knew them. We used the website for advice on planning our trip and choosing what to do while in Puerto Morelos - a town that makes you feel like family after a day or two. We dropped by the store to get some... We stumbled into town one day because my husband had finished his entire library before vacation's end. It gave us a good excuse to visit Puerto Morelos for the day. We weren't sure what to expect when stepping into the book store but the lady at the front was super friendly, conversation flowed easily with her and we ended up... More
