This trail is very beautiful and easily done even with kids as its a flat path. During winter time if there's a lot of snow you can rent some snow rackets and walk your way up to the lake. 1,5 hours of walking both sides, a beautiful like in the end of the trip. It's worth all the efforts. But watch out for the wrong turns, they are quite steep and getting back is pretty hard.

if you go into encamp and then take the 3rd rotary to the right, you will end up at a parking place for hiking. The trail is well maintained and largely flat but the views are awesome. Pleasant and easy walk leading to a small lake with a dam. Lot's of people probably because of the level of easiness. There are restaurants if you want to eat once you're there. It was nice for us but there are others much better trails but harder though.

Engolasters Lake above Encamp is an artificial lake that supplies water for hydro-electric generation. That said, it is a wonderful place to get away from the hustle and bustle that is commercial Andorra.
