Visited the play barn again today with my friend ( her first visit) with two toddlers and a baby. The young guy that paid us in was very welcoming and professional so thank you for your kindness. Again fantastic value!! The price is great £2.75 for over 18 months. Food again, delicious as always and again very reasonably priced. It... More

We held our Daughter's 3rd Birthday Party at The Barn on Sunday 28th July & chose exclusive use from 15:30 - 17:30 (All we needed to bring was the cake, party bags & any additional balloons) .. The lady who runs it was amazing & went the extra mile to make sure everything ran smoothly & gladly catered vegetarian food,... More

Its a shame this place has gone downhill so much It used to have so many animals and was a very clean place. I was very shocked to see the state of the place now its very unclean hardly any animals (a few chickens and 3/4 ducks). On the plus side it was a sunny day and the play area... More

There's not as many animals as before but there's still rabbits, chickens, ducklings and ferrets to see. The play area is ok with a bouncy castle, trampoline and 4 other play pens (one with sand). The menu is great - especially for kids with home made food and plenty of veg to keep it healthy!!

Play barn closed for private party with no sign to tell public so were turned away upon entering (and our son seeing the play area) farm shop was empty of food and treats (other than pet food)... Not as impressed this time as on our first visit, yes there are one or two loose and roaming animals, mainly Rabbits, Goats or Chickens, but children should be Ok if properly supervised. There is an old tractor for kids to play on in the paddock, a small lake with water birds including Black Swans and a pen with what... More

I have been a loads of times and taken my 3 year old to the play area on the farm. The farm and the activity barn are now apparently separate business (so told my a member of staff who came back after the change of ownership) I believe this is now why the barn has had a make over. The... More

Visited today with my family including my 3.5yr old, even though I had read reviews of good and bad, I decided to give it a go. On entering the first section where all the different sorts of hens were it was immediately clear that they were in a bad way. One hen had all its head feathers missing - a... More
