The Old Quay Inn (which is a pub not an "attraction" as Trip Advisor seems to think) is a really nice local pub with some really excellent food. I've been here multiple times over the years for an evening meal and have always been impressed with the quality of my food. Dogs being welcome in this pub make it great... More

Made the trip especially for our final meal before departing for home. Trying to park was difficult due to limited spaces once inside didn't look any busier than any other restaurants we have been in but was told we would have to wait 50 mins for food, ok we waited over an hour. We ordered three drinks and was never... More

Intended to eat here on a Sunday evening, we ended up leaving after a drink, the member of staff we saw was pleasant and helpful, beer was ok. We chose to sit in the terraced garden. I don’t know if they had been busy that day, but the place looked pretty un-kept, glasses everywhere and dirty marked tables. We chose... More

Having read recent reviews we made a lunchtime visit today and were pleased we did. Staff were welcoming and beer and food were very good, at a reasonable price. The... More

Popped in for a wet after an exhausting 3 1/2 mile walk with the dog from Carnon Downs Camping Park (seemed a good idea at the time!!) Wife was 7 months pregnant and offered a lift home with one of the locals after they had finished their shift to save the walk back again!. Stopped for a couple of pints,... More

Went here for evening meal early February 2011. Quiet time of year but quite a few people in. Good range of beers and the food was really quite good. Fixed price & a la carte menus. Bar staff did waiting on tables and it was all good. Not expensive (2 course set menu was £12). Recommended.
