Tucked away in the middle of the green hills of the south of Mauritius, you will find a real haven of peace, a marvelous garden called CHAZAL. The host can choose different ecotourism activities: The zip-lines trekking, the river trekking, walks in the hunting reserve… or relax, just enjoy calm and bird’s songs. For lunch, at the “Table d’hotes” we serve the best Mauritian recipes prepared with fresh seasonal vegetables from the garden!

Been there for a few hours. Compared to other domaine in Mauritius, this one is not that well maintained. Much more could be done, especially if a fee is being required. The food was excellent but people welcoming us were cold. When we asked the staff members for more info, they looked like they don't wish to share info. Its a... More

Whilst holidaying in Mauritius we found this wonderful place which hosted several activities. Our four children went Zipwiring and they have done this many times at various locations such as Go Ape and said this was the best they had ever encountered. They had a lovely morning flying through the trees and ending up in water. My husband, myself and sons... More

It was a Sunday and actually a surprise from a family member. The first thing i saw was the splendid lush green scenery the fresh air was so pure that i felt like sleeping there all day long :). There were two ponds filled with different fishes and the whole family removed their shoes to soak their feet in the... More

Did there half day river tour and had some fun! The tour follows the river down from on pool and waterfall to the next. At various points you either slide down the rocks into the pool or jump down. None of the jumps are very high, so you don't have to be a complete adrenaline junkie to enjoy this trip.... More

I did zip-lining for the first time ever and it was just so much fun! The nature in the south of Mauritius is just beautiful and while zip-lining you experience it from a different perspective! You are basically flying over Rivière de Galets. First it's kind of scary but then you can't stop. The guides are very friendly and reliable.... More

We went ziplining here, Oct 13 - lovely setting, great friendly, funny guides and exciting ziplines. The restaurant/relaxation area is beautiful. Would highly recommend mosquito spray and long sleeves/trousers though.

Fabulous nature resort, with attractions to suit most people - went for a yoga session from our hotel as an excursion, so didn't do the zip lines or swimming but it is very calm & peaceful and the koi pond is fantastic Beware the mosquitoes if you walk by the river though...

We went for a short (2hr) trek. It was a pleasent trek, very friendly guide, and nice scenery. The sign posts to the location could be improved, our driver got lost and spent 30 min looking for the place. Overall a very good experiance.
