Very peaceful, This temple is situated on the banks of river prevara. According to the History pravara river is originated from the bottom of the amruteshwar mahadev(shiv ling). Normally in monsoon season this shiv-ling will be below water and you will not be able to see it.

We visited this temple on our Bhandardara sight-seeing. It's situated in Ratanwadi. A small Shiva Temple with wonderful architecture. Nice place for photography.

Amruteshwar is an 8th century Shiva temple in Ratanwadi village near Bhandardara. The stone temple is in remarkable good shape and visitors can feast their eyes on its intricate carvings. The temple is properly fenced and an ancient tank faces a hill on which stands the age old Ratangad fort – a favourite trekking destination. As per the basic Indian... More

A Temple in the middle of Nowehere, Beautiful Surrounding, Shiva Linga is submerged under water, I really liked the architecture of the place, specially enjoyed the drive to the temple where you will see hundreds of waterfalls on the way.

The shivling is sunk below ground level and can be reached from the front and... More
