Being a kiwi I wasn't too sure about the show, however, I was blown away and absolutely loved it - would recommend to all! Farm tour was great, fantastic for international visitors!

I went in July and it's winter in NZ, it's a bit cold and rainy some days. The tour was at outdoor so summer time might be better. During the tour, the guide told us about the habit of different kinds of animals. We got to feed the Al paca and sheeps (if they don't run away from you), hand-pick... More

Loved the show and the petting area. Kids particularly enjoyed being able to go in with the lambs. Very entertaining way to spend a rainy morning in Rotorua.

As part of an organised shore excursion from a ship berthed in Auckland we went to Rotorua for the day and a visit to the Agrodome was included. We arrived in time for the sheep show and we're not disappointed - the host was excellent and all the different sheep were fabulous - they were definitely the stars of the... More

Thanks Sue! Happy to hear that we come "highly recommended" and that you enjoyed the show and the 'up-close' opportunities that it offers our guests. The farm dogs are definately my favorite as well - they just LOVE their job and it shows! Wishing you safe travels! More

Overall a good farm show for tourists. We've seen some other similar shows years ago and this one has the more enjoyable host. Although we were expecting more on the dogs part, the ducks were quite funny too. I thing it would be must more memorable if more audiences can have a go at feeding the sheep and milking the... More

Wow what a great show with real life animals you never know what next they'll bring out on stage or what they will do! But they are all great seasoned performers and take it in their stride dealing with the main host of the show who is funny and knowledgeable can tell he has a soft spot for every animal... More

It is fantastic to hear how much fun you had at our show and well done on milking a cow - it is not always as easy as it looks! Our show hosts do have a soft spot for the animals they work with and we are pleased that it comes through to the audience during the shows. When you... More

We had an enjoyable hour or so and enjoyed the sheep show. It gave a fascinating and quite humorous insight into the different sheep breeds. Worth a visit.

We loved it here - we were perhaps the only couple there not on an organised tour and with no children but it was a good couple of hours. We opted to do the tractor farm tour and attend the sheep show. Both were informative as to farming in New Zealand and provided an interesting insight.

Thanks for the review - we love it here too! Great that you took the farm tour option as well as the show. You would have walked away with a good understanding of New Zealand farming and agriculture. Was reluctant to go, after all what's the big deal about looking a someone milking cows and sheep shearing. But it was very educational. Glad we went. Had a good laugh watching the show. Enjoyed the farm tour very much, never been so close to cows and sheep. Seriously the animals look like giants next to me. The farm tour... More
