The award winning Food and Wine Trail is a well signposted, 32km scenic drive trail, encompassing more than 80 restaurants, wineries and breweries and more than 50 seasonal roadside stalls lie along the trail, selling everything from asparagus to melons and more besides. Nice with having a food and wine valley not that far away from downtown. Driving around in the valley and try ice cream, wine, coffee, chocolate, oils, jams and much more is a perfect weekend activity. Perfect to spend a sunny half day.

Best to hire a car get the tour map tick and off places of interest and go. All places and wineries are well sign posted the loop is around 36 km and if time poor this is an excellent day out. We had poor weather and this was a wonderful activity to do.

It was great to see different scenery to that in the city and you truly feel like you are a world away. This is a really good rainy day... More

We had a really nice day driving around the Swan Valley food and wine trial. If you're driving, stop by the tourist centre to plan your trip. We stopped at some great food places including the chocolate factory, Morish nuts, and a honey shop. I would give the Cheese Barrel a miss. They don't seem to make any cheeses on... More
