My daughter celebrated her 18th birthday yesterday with a wine tour. The bus broke down at Houghtons and the day could have been ruined if it wasn't was the kind thoughtful staff that looked after the group. They went above and beyond in service. Absolutely amazing!

Our tour guide was very informative and was able to tailor the tour to our needs. We visited a variety of venues from wine tasting to chocolate delights, coffee tastings with a final stop in Guilford for lunch. Highly recommended.

Called in for some wine tasting and decided to stay for a light lunch. We ordered a cheese platter for two with a basket of chips. Service was quick, food very attractively presented and more than enough for three of us, chunks of crusty bread, 3 types of cheese, grapes, strawberries, poached pears, crackers and onion jam, yummy. Reasonably priced... More

There are plenty of great places to visit in the Swan Valley to sample local food, wine, beer and spirits. Typical highlights include the Margaret River Chocolate Company, Talijancich Winery (for fortified wines), the House of Honey, and many of the various small outlets selling fresh grapes, watermelons etc. Although I haven't tried personally, there are also plenty of outlets... Yes, 25 minutes from the center of Perth is the Swan Valley. Turn left at the famous Alfred's Hamburger Kitchen -- cross the railway boom gates at Guildford and on your right is the Swan Valley Visitor's Centre. Pop in and collect your free guide and map booklet - plenty of souvenirs there too. The Valley covers a very large... More

We booked in for a wine tasting for 16 of us, having experienced a friendly atmosphere a few years ago. It was the worst experience and we paid $5 per person so that our female staff member could serve us begrudgingly. After coming out with one bottle of wine and explaining that we would go through the wines on the... More

The Lancaster is a must . I had a party of 30booked for tasting . On our arrival we were pleasantly greeted and they,d set a table up for us with 30 glasses n wine list bottles of table water also. The guy introduced himself n explained about the wines we were tasting etc. I always visit when I go... More

We hired a stretch Hummer from Perth Stretch Hummers. They picked us up from home, which was nice and the 14 of us set off with some nice background music from our own iPod. We went to an underground cellar and some boutique wineries before ending up at Edgecumbe winery for lunch. The owners all knew our driver Brett and... More

We had booked bikes to ride the trail, however due to rain we decided to drive the route in our Car. It is a very picturesque route with lots of stops to please all ages. Basically a flat trail and make sure you allow a full day as there is just so much to see and do
