My family (with teenage children) go there early January 2014. For the first 15 minutes we only see like we ussualy saw in Borneo. After we get off of our boat that's the time we feel real "green canyon". Torrential stream that we must pass armed with life jackets, great green canyon, Amazed us and making us forget to take... We went here on October 14, 2013. We were lucky that the last rain was on October 12, so the water was clear (not as clear as when it was no rain for weeks, though). From Pangandaran, it took us about 80 minutes in the car (there were road works in some part of the road and it slowed us... More

One of the most beautiful place in Indonesia. You can enjoy body rafting in the fresh water of Cukang Taneuh with the famous name is Green Canyon. The perfect time to go there when summer time, no rain at all. You can see the green to blue water when sunny summer and it's so beautiful. You can jump from the... More

Body rafting in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Yes. This place truly is stunning and away from the trash covered beaches of pangandaran. August seemed like the perfect time to go. No rain. Rapids weren't too fast or too slow. The guides look after you very well and supply you with life jackets, water, snacks and... More

First of all, I recommend you to visit this place ONLY when it's not raining. When sunny, the water is greenish to blueish, it's a natural phenomenon caused by algae. But when it's raining, the water turns brown thus it looks dirty and unattractive. It's kind of hard to predict, but usually July-August is the least raining period. The road... More

Instead of joining one of the expensive tour busses, we took matters in own hands and rented a scooter. Signs to the Green Canyon are easy to follow, but be aware that road conditions are rough (put holes). At the canyon lots of boats await for you to board (125.000 RP per boat, max 5 people). Due to heavy rainfall... More

Eventhough to get there from jakarta is a struggle but once you get there it's worth the effort. We stayed for the night at an inn at pangandaran beach and in the morning we went to green canyon which took about an hour of driving and the road back then was not that bad. Once you get to green canyon... More
