Its good fun for kids and adults alike, especially on a nice warm day. It needs to be more maintained yes but it`s still a unique place, especially for postcards photos during sunsets from the anchor bay cliffs! Anchor bay is also very nice and peaceful for a good swim.

We arrived just in time to take part in the "take 2 become a movie star". We were so glad we did. This lasted about 40 minutes with the director being very good at including everyone and getting the best out of people. We were then taken to watch the movie we were starring in. This was brilliant and very... More

We just came back from Malta recently. Visited Popeye Village with 3 years old son. Was great fun for whole day. He absolutely loved the swimming pool for kids. All village nicely build, you can watch a movie in one of those houses. Also there is a live play at certain times. Overall worth visiting just one tiny minus I... More

We decide not to pay the 14 euros to go inside as we were unprepared and did not take swimming things - we had not realised beforehand that it was essentially a water park. We did find a nice viewpoint to look at the village though and it did look remarkable inside. I imagine this would be a lot of... More

In 1980, the late Robin Williams came to life as the cartoon sailor, Popeye. The film was filmed on location in Anchor Bay, Malta, in a small cove where the cartoon character's village was recreated. While the film was less than a success and the star has sadly left us, the village remains as a great tourist drawcard for families,... More

I had a great time exploring Popeye Village. It's so cool to watch the movie then visit the set. The beaches here are absolutely beautiful and I would recommend this attraction to anyone who loves movies and beaches.

Good experience but quite expensive. Cost us 29 euros for 2 people. If you intend to spend the whole day there its not too bad but it took us about 20 mins to walk round it . You get a boat ride included which takes about 10 mins.
