It's easy to drive past and ignore it but take a detour and enjoy the tranquility of the town and the beautiful church.

Walked from our hotel although there is a bus as its quite a steep hill to reach. Good for a short visit, coffee shop at the top with lovely views.

The main church is impressive, if not a little plain. But the gem is the chapel in the grotto under the church, which holds an amazing series of stories and claims. Plus when you come out of the main church you have three different bars to choose from, try the Band Club first, which is the furthest on the right.

Stunning. So tidy, so clean, no litter anywhere. Amazing views and a beautiful church, so glad I walked all the way up and visited the little cemetery. Beautiful

Lovely church did not go in but lovely to walk around, combined it with air raid shelter which is situated next to church.

The church can been seen around melliah bay and had some stunning building inside and out. The maltease have very impressive churches with attention to detail design and this is a good example off.

The caretaker gave us a history of how it was as he lived thru the raids as a young child-made it come to life. Worth a pop in visit

A clear reminder of the deeply religious past (and present) of this area of Malta, visited by pope John Paul II and the locals certainly make a big deal of this place. We didn't get to go inside, as it was closed on the Saturday we explored that area, but it's a magnificent building nonetheless. It's location makes it visible... More
