Quiet and very unassuming, place to reflect at. Bit of a walk to get too but worth the visit. check out all the letters from people who had been cured by this little place through prayer. Views across the country were spectacular.

Definitely worth a visit if in Mellieha. There are lots of lovely churches in Malta and this is one of them. Had a walk around the church and a little history tour to go with it.

The parish church can be found on top of a hill that offers panoramic views of Mellieha bay (locally called Ghadira). Unlike other maltese churches it does not... More

Beautifully kept, and providing spectacular views from the village throughout the day and also at night. Round the back of the church and up the road is where to see the sun set at this time of the year.

It is quite a climb, so if your knees suffer be prepared! find out when it is open before you go. Mind you most places in Malta involve a climb!!

Spectacular building in a lovely location with brilliant view looking right out to the sea. The inside is even more stunning though.

After a while you think that if you've seen one of Malta's fine churches you've seen them all - the architecture, decoration, prominent positions etc. yet all the ones we saw or visited had their own unique 'something'. The Parish Church of Mellieha is no different. It's perched on the edge of a rocky outcrop and is very imposing from... More
