Great architecture with lots of history. I would recommend this to everyone to see. There is so much history around Malta. I really connect with Christianity as people were always praying. I would say to be well prepared when going around these places as you need to wear proper foot wear to suit the hilly conditions.

This is a fantastic church steeped in history and mass is said in English on a Sunday at 10AM.There is also a shop which is a great deal cheaper than the surrounding shops for the same or similar items.

The church was not open when we visited last year so this year after walking all the way up to the church we were delighted to find it was open. This church is lovely inside and out and well worth the walk.

Like so many churches in Malta this one is elaborately decorated and inspires awe and wonder. Built high on the hilltop it strikes a stunning picture.

This is a beautiful church, and inside is massive and very ornate. It is well used and popular. There are a lot of restaurants nearby and also a viewing area with benches.

Well worth a visit, great views over the bay, there is also a small sanctuary to the side which was the original church, lots of information and pictures on the pope's visit.

Jump off the bus and take a look at the town and aroud. Very steep but it worth trying. Not crowded in May so best time to go. The temperature is also 30C but nice wind is cooloing you down.

I visited on the off chance on the second day of my visit and was pleasantly surprised, the church was ornate both inside and out, with the sisters being ever so pleasant happy to talk to you and tell you about the history of the church
