The church is lighted nicely at night and it stands on top of higher ground. We went in for Sunday service, nothing special or out of the ordinary. The architecture of the church is not particularly distinctive as far as church architectures are concerned. Not one of the most interesting destinations of our week long trip in Malta.

It is really clean and well kept, and if you go once you would still like to go again. and about 25 meters away there is a small church, the same church that on the POPE visit to Malta he prayed there in front of the Madonna.

Really worth the climb to this beautifull church! Magnificant views and nearby kots of cafés and bars. We visited when there was a parade and band playing. Very friendly atmosphere

The original capital of Malta before Valletta was built, loads of history and beautiful to see. More down to earth is a must visit to the Fontanella for coffee, lovely cakes and views. After Mdina walk around Rabat for lovely old buildings and interesting locals. Take your camera. Ron Forder

A beautiful church in a lovely location. We seem to stumbled into a chapel on the ground level but when we walked up to the main church it was closed for the afternoon. This didn't matter as we sat and enjoyed the view in the shade instead.
