Maspalomas has 2 characters, on one side of the lighthouse is the cheaper side, with good and reasonably priced restaurants, and on the other is the expensive jewellers and clothes shopes. Great place to visit even if it is just to eat.

Didn't actually spend a day on the beach but took a stroll along the promenade one evening, and one mini shopping trip. Its very pleasant and clean and the sand sculptures near the lighthouse were amazing. The kids love the mini rock pools and the sand was lovely underfoot.

With temperatures around 31degrees C every day we were there and with a nice breeze, the beaches of Maspolomas are very picturesque and great for sunbathing. The beach itself is classical but the dunes behind makes it beautiful. Crossing the dunes if to do if you want to take marvellous pictures. However, the Atlantic ocean has never been really warm and can be dangerous. You'll understand it when you go :-)

Took a trip to the beach, not much there other than the beach. A few bars and restaurants but a bit isolated. Good if you just want a quiet beach.

Huge sandy beaches where you can walk for miles without finding any building. Watch-out for signs as some parts can be dangerous for swimming.

Loved the endless expanse of sand and the relaxing atmosphere. Thought the cost of sunbeds was too high.
