If u fancy a day out of the hotel you should visit the sand dunes in maspalomas, it's a lovely walk and fun trying to run up them, I would say drink plenty of water but there are a few little huts along the way, watch what you put on ur feet as the sand gets very hot and burns... More

Nice sandy beach with plenty of open spaces not just sunbeds like some other beaches. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Only downside is the constant hassle from watch, sunglasses and hand bag sellers.

Climbing the sand dunes is a must. Would recommend the shorter dunes, beware of the hot sand. Lots of nudist on the beach, not always a pretty sight. Lovely to walk from Playa de Ingles to Melonares, leave about an hour for this walk.

I love this lovely gay beach ! It's a pleasant walk from The Lighthouse in Maspalomas and then walking back after an afternoon of sunbathing via famous Dunes towards the Riu Hotel. Wear some proper sandals as the sand gets very hot ….

We used the beach near the number 7 hut, it was a long track over the dunes to reach it and was certainly an experience getting there. We paid €5 for each sunbed although they have seen better days and should be replaced. The beach was very nice although the tendency for people to pee next to the sand dune... More

This was a nice place, nice shopping, clean, tidy, and lovely restaurants. Down side was parking, and we went further and further out of town until we found a spot. But still the walk did us good.
