Contrast the beach at Maspalomas with its heaving swell of toasting holidaymakers with the relative tranquility of the adjacent Las Dunas. A 4ksq stretch of desert adjacent to the Atlantic shore. A constant pilgrimage of walkers plies back-and-forth along the beachfront between Maspalomas & Playa del Ingles but step a few dozen meters into the desert, claim a dune and... More

Interesting lighthouse and prommenade - nice beach but the sea is very rocky and also wild when windy - lifegaurds very alert though and felt confident they were watching properly

Plenty of sun loungers for hire if required - you will want umbrellas! of course the sand is VERY hot on the feet. One of the major attractions here is the vast swathe of sand dunes. It was a bit of a pain getting into the sea from the main area, and recently a lot of the sand had been... More

A good beach with affordable sun loungers and umbrellas for hire. You could go out a long way into the sea without it getting to deep. It would benefit from more wooden walkways as the sand became incredibly hot in the afternoon.

This is a really good beach - miles of Golden soft sand and of course the most amazing sand dunes. It is very busy in places - especially near the bars but there is plenty of space to sit in the peace and quiet. Water is fine - can be a little choppy sometimes but fine for swimming. It was... More

The dunes were incredible and went on for what seemed like miles and miles. The beach was also kept very clean.

It is a really busy and growded beach, quite long, with near a lot of ugly hotels an buildings... it is only good due the lighthouse and the dunes. It is easy to be reached but the public (payment) parking near the lighthouse is the probably best place where place the car.
