We went with out 2 children (5 years and 2 years) and we all loved it. A great animal park. Lots to see and do and beautiful views. All the shows e.g. birds of prey, dolphins are worth seeing. Definitely a must if you are staying in Gran Canaria.

Visited this park/zoo/botanical garden as an excursion from our tour operator. Beautiful setting high up into the mountains and well laid out as a park. The dolphin show is a particular highlight with the dolphins and trainers taking part in the acrobatics. Plenty of refreshment areas and a large shop. Due to the park's location, the paths are quite steep... More

The dolphin show is fantastic! We thought we would go for half a day but not possible as so much to see we were there the whole day. Take a packed lunch as food and drinks really expensive. This place is worth every penny and suitable for all ages!

I visited Palmitos park with my wife and three kids to get some variation to pool & beach. And indeed we got that. I'm not a big fan of zoos, but this one with mountain scenery is just nice. Also the walking paths were made so that there are many places offering cool shadow, so the sun does not burn... More

Park was tidy and a nice range of animals but not extensive, The dolphin and parrot show were probably the best part of the park, Got the bus for 8.80Euro for 2 people with return from playa del ingles which runs every 30minutes

We decided to go here for a whole day so we could experience all the shows and walk around at slow pace. I never saw a person surf on the back of a dolphin and the implication of the audience into the bird shows was really well organized. The parrot show was identical to the one we had in our... More

Lovely day out, lots to see and the highlight was definitely the dolphin show. We got the local bus from Puerto rico which runs every hour. The park itself is very clean and well looked after. They have some amazing Tortoises. Food and drink is avaliable but as you would expect it is expensive. Well worth a visit though.

Loved this place - Plenty of advertised buses to get there, only an Hour bus ride from Puerto Rico WheelChair friendly if needed. Do bear in mind, this place is set in a ridge or the mountains and their is a bit of steep walking. Plenty of little resting places. Birds of Prey attraction was good and the parrot show... More
