I played golf here in October on the Old Course (shot +1) and would definitely recommend it to other golfers. The golf course is superb, it great condition with fantastic views all around. I was a solo golfer but my girlfriend drove the buggy for me and the only real downside of the day was being charged €18 for her... More

nice hotel, quite isolated so if you want nightlife and local shops etc then this is not the place for you. Hotel is well decorated with good rooms, generally good service from the staff in the resort. Spa massages great and very relaxing, car hire very reasonable and available on site which is great. there is a shuttle bus to... More

We decided on a last minute week in the sun and on arrival found the hotel set among the hills above Maspalomas. The setting is magnificent as are the facilities. The rooms are modern, & clean with great views. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The down side is the quality of the food. Around the... More

Excellent facilities, excellent food... bit too far away from the beach and activities, but if all you want is to sit by the pool for a week, this place is perfect. Amazing weather, so consistently good! Hotel staff could be a bit cranky, but was variable.

Had a great couple of days playing the Old Course, Salobre. We did intend to play both but after having such a good round and being told that the New Course is not very forgiving, we decided to play the Old a second time. We paid €75 each and this included the buggy and a set of clubs each. The... More

The Old Course Salobre is a nice course with good design. The Course is recommend to be played with buggy but I myself and my Husband played by foot with trolleys. We had no difficulties as we are speedy players and fit to walk with rapid pace. We played six rounds In six days and the GPS information indicated walkig... More

There are two courses at Salobre Old and New - we played the Old course off the yellow tees. Resort is part of The Sheraton hotel - had breakfast buffet to start - very good selection but at 20 Euros a bit expensive. Buggies are a must - but no on board GPS to convert to yards as we had... More

We are very disappointed with the lack of a club house for golfers and even the terrace bar area that was open last year, is now closed so if you want to have a drink and a chat after your golf round, you can only sit at metal tables and stools in the car park which is most unappealing. Most... More

Whilst I don't play golf it seemed popular amongst golfers. The course is set amongst the hills. Easy to pop out of the hotel and you're right on the course.

We loved both the New (North) Course and the Old (South) Course. My husband enjoyed the views from the 'white' tees and the views were great, even from the 'red' tees. It is a good test of golf, even for low handicappers. The staff were very accommodating to re-book our tee times for the two days we could not play... More
