I have been going to maspalomas for years and Faro 2 used to be buzzing at night with lots of resteraunts bars and shops. Apparently the guy that owns Faro 2 is trying to knock it down and build a new shopping centre there consequently 3/4 of the units are now empty and the place has nothing to attract you... More

Yes the place is a bit m/t but it has a well stocked supermarket and several good places to eat inside,they are better than ones on the outside. More

at the moment there is not any reason to go there as all shops will be closed soon. I was told that the shopping center will be renovated and shops will open again- if that happens I have no idea. with spanish planning and current crisis, it will probably be a while before that happens. More

Seriously, do NOT go there, nothing there at all! Shops are empty, its dirty and run down. Wasn't even worth the 5 min walk to it. 2 restaurants are trying to stay open but even they are on their knees. Can't express how bad it is! More

This used to be the vibrant hub in Maspalomas, but the visitors have moved on leaving mainly empty shops. There were a few places to eat and drink but it was quiet. Broncemar II was still there but the previously excellent Michaelangelos Italian Restaurant has sadly closed. Such a shame. More

this place was depressing avoid like the plague not a single shop remains open there is one cafe and a bike shop, awful. More

Stopped in there and found a couple places to eat, they were empty! A couple grocery stores and not much else! There are much nicer and busier places in the area. The Yumbo has several places to eat and several bars and tonnes of shopping. More

this area has become very quite and alot of shops - bars resturants have closed down.. yet there is a good super market- eateries and bar that are worth going to More
