A wonderful place of history to visit, great ambience, lighting information and the lovely hostess Marga. Well worth the wonderful walk or you can always ride up on the little green train and at the end of the visit is the bar next door with fantastic views of the costa

Perhaps the visiting of the museum is for those, who are interesting in the marine navigation. Unfortunately I am not one of them and the visit was a little boring for me. I recommend to take a cup of coffee, a cold beer or a glass of wine at the small restaurant in front of the museum, right above the... More

The museum sits under the wall of the castle and will cost a few euros entrance. There are a few Roman and medieval items on display but mainly the museum has a small collection of paintings. There does not seem to be any theme and the small leaflet does not go into details. However some of the items do have... More

Entry fee of €3 paid for admission to a museum that seemed to be in the throes of being dismantled. Three artistic videos with little information formed the bulk of the exhibit. A room of interesting objects was lacking explanations. The museum had no toilet and a grumpy cashier. Ten minutes worth. Save your money and go to the municipal... More

A novel way of showing the history of lighthouses, and associated stuff, as I found out when I read about it after our visit. Can't help feeling that it should have been better explained at the time - guidebook, English narrative, posters, information boards .... anything!! Or maybe I missed something? Visually quite stunning though.

Brilliant walks and views around this beautiful quaint old town. Little shops and Taverns to keep you watered and fed. Best on the Costa Brava. Taking a sea taxi to the next towns was brill.
