As this is the main beach in Tossa de Mar it really is a very busy beach. But the waves are great for families with younger children and there are loads of restaurants on the beach. We preferred the more quiet beach on the other side of town though.

We went to the organised firework display on July 1st sat on the wall looking over the beach and were amazed at the fireworks we were there the week before for St Jaun festival where they light a fire on the beach and the locals have their own fun with fireworks its something thats hard to explain but to watch... The high price of sunbeds put us off spending time on the beach,it was 6 euros for each bed and 6euros for an umbrella making a total of 18 euros a day to go on the beach,we wont be visiting Tossa again, the most we pay in Greece is 8 euros for 2 beds and 1 umbrella. The good point is that... More

Its a lovely beach in a nice setting in a bay, its a great pity about the sand which is small grit. It is well Kept and clean and has a lovely back ground of the castle. There is a nice promenade with plenty of seating so its good to take in the view. Along the promenade there are many... More

Beautifully clean family beach in a lovely setting with a view of the Castle. Boat trips run from here to nearby resorts.

This is a busy and charming seaside town After checking in our hotel we Immediately went to have our lunch at a beachside restaurant. Then we set up on this beach for the rest of the day. Good thing we brought a parisol (beach umbrella). On a sunny day it's necessary. You can rent chairs, towels, and umbrellas for the... More

Lovely views on the beach and cool restaurants at hand. The kids enjoyed bathing in the crystal clear waters after a delicious lunch be the sea shore.

The beach is gorgeous when you look down on it from above (see my pictures) but that's where it stops. The 'sand' is actually a variety of small and large stones and it gets painful to walk on after a few strides. It's no better with shoes or sandals as they are small enough to get under your feet and... More

After visiting Tossa de Mar on a boat trip from Santa Susanna, after a day out, I really wanted to come back and spend more time there, and I am glad that I did!!! We stayed at a quaint family run bed and breakfast in the old town and had great views from the top floor room, although very basic, was... More
