Not a long stretch of beach but the water is clean and clear with huge waves that make the experience fun and memorable.

Tossa is so beautiful, accessible and fun. The beach is lined with quaint bar restaurants where you can relax, eat, drink and enjoy the beautiful view. There are plenty of local stores to buy blow-up toys and the water is calm. Right on the beach, you can rent kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, etc. Everything is easy and convenient. The water... Shingly beach not sand, with lovely rugged coast in both directions. Great for snorkelling or swimming. Very busy beach, with cordoned area for trip boats to come and go safely.

This beach gets a 'very good' because it is so clean and picturesque. However it is not sandy, it is small stones! Not super nice to walk on without footwear. It is very very very busy, come early. The best thing was the water which is so nice.

A beautiful beach, white sand, calm blue sea and fantastic views. The beach is family friendly, it's busy in the summer months but not crowded. There are bars, cafes and restaurants nearby too. I came here with my boyfriend and we found it to be a perfect spot to relax, sunbathe, play paddle and go for a swim.

The beach itself is ok. Nice location, lovely views, small stones rather than sand, though. However, I went to Tossa in the high season and the beach was VERY crowded. As in - struggling to find a space crowded. So if you're ok with crowds - fine but if not - don't go there!

We spent a week on the beach here, renting chairs and relaxing in the sun. The water was really good, except on the weekend when it became too crowded. It's nice to have the beach so close to town.

Great Beach with nice view on Costa Brava and Castello. However to crowded for us. But then again we were there on busiest part of the day in holiday season (August). We visited the shops in the city and Castello instead which were excellent by the way.

Great views but the Beach was not for me, too much like grit. Although plently of sun bathers and I did have a wander along testing the sea.
