Within Tossa there are really three distinct beach 'areas.' I never actually caught their individual names and from a quick Google search it's not clear to me if they are distinct. What you really need to know is there are three: (1) a north section, which is separated by rocks from the middle section (middle being the largest and most... More

Tidy beach. Good facilities, sun beds, boat trips, restaurants and bars. I did expect a sandy beach looking at the photos but found it to be sand coloured pebbles, having said that, they easily moulded under your towel and it was easy to get comfortable to catch a bit of sun!

The beach is made of small stones rather than sand but that helps the water to be clear. Big and small fish come near to the beach so take your snorkelling gear.

Not proper sand, it's kind of grainy!! The beach drops off very quickly as you enter the water so gets deep very quick. This is because of the boats coming in with visitors several times an hour. Beach is very clean though with showers available

I did not find this beach attractive due to the crowds. However, we took the Fondo Cristal tour to the caves and they left us in Cala Giverola, which was definitely much worth visiting, with cristal clear waters and a beautiful scenario. It only tooks us 40 min to arrive to Cala Giverola as the boat was stopping around caves.... More

this was our favorite beach in the whole of costa brava. we travelled from lloret de mar by bus, a nice 15 minute ride which takes you up on a nice hill overlooking great views. beach is glorious, was very quiet, with a great backdrop of the castle. nice restaurants along the sea front :)

Beach is beautiful, water is clear and of nice refreshing temperature, it is getting deep after cca 5m. Send is a little rough so I quite injured my toes while was walking by the sea for 10min. The good beach bar is missing, also some quiet music.

Water was too cold to get in when I was there but the beach is glorious. The sand is more like small pebbles than the sand at home in Texas so it wasn't sticky. Love it!

We loved it, plenty of people enjoying it,mainly families, grandchildren loved the waves on two blow up rings but Sand is a bit like fish tank gravel and a bit rough on the feet.. It's ideal, right at the side of the town, cafés etc (ice creams) restaurants

Lovely beach but crowded with chavvy tourists in Union Jack shorts or football shirts shouting at their kids. Not a relaxing place at all in peak season but this is down to fellow Brits not the locals. The restaurants along this beach mainly offer British grub ie chicken and chips or everything else with chips and no nice local food... More
